Kaizen Day at ACYM Bhiwadi was more than an internal event, creating a platform for employees to present ideas spanning process efficiency, quality, and operations. It was a demonstration of what a culture of continuous improvement looks like in practice.

We were honoured to have Mr. Anshuman Satyarthi, Mr. Subramanian Ramasamy, and Mr. Kamalnath Thangaraj from the Supply Chain team at Daimler India Commercial Vehicles join us. Their appreciation and encouragement meant a great deal to everyone present.

Events like these are a reminder that employee-led improvements remain central to building agile, future-ready, and world-class manufacturing environments. Sometimes, the most sustainable improvements are driven not from the top down, but from the shop floor up.

Across industries, women’s representation continues to narrow at every step of the leadership pipeline. From ~30% at entry level to ~20% in middle management and ~5% at CXO roles, various industry reports suggest a steady drop as careers progress.

At ANAND Group, Inclusion, Diversity, and Equity (IDE) is central to our culture. With women advancement at workplace as a core focus area, we recently held an interactive workshop with employees to brainstorm about the barriers that limit women’s progression & ecosystem that an organisation needs to build - particularly at mid to senior levels.

The session led to open, honest conversations around career continuity, workplace structures, and support systems, while bringing forward practical ideas for change. The insights gathered will serve as the foundation for building focused policies, supported by learning & development and wellness initiatives. Together, these efforts will help in strengthening women representation across leadership roles.

This is another meaningful step towards shaping a workplace where empowerment is embedded in practice.

A sustainable future is built through consistent action, shared responsibility, and the willingness to act.

At ANAND Group, the focus continues to be on turning commitments into outcomes. This is evident in how we operate today, with carbon neutrality at 85 per cent, renewable energy usage at 37 per cent, and water neutrality at 98 per cent. Alongside this, our journey continues, with nine plants now zero waste certified and achieving over 95 percent waste diversion.

This progress is supported by focused action on the ground. Solar installations contribute to cleaner energy use, while waste management initiatives ensure that organic waste is reused productively. At the same time, stronger environmental management systems are helping us monitor and improve performance across locations.

This World Earth Day is a reminder of what we believe, that meaningful impact is created through consistent action.
