التقى السيد السفير/ كامل جلال سفير جمهورية مصر العربية بنيودلهي بالسيد/ Gyanesh Kumar رئيس لجنة الانتخابات الهندية، حيث شهد اللقاء تبادل وجهات النظر حول سبل تعزيز التعاون بين الجانبين بما في ذلك تبادل الخبرات في مجال إدارة ومراقبة العمليات الانتخابية.

عكس اللقاء العلاقات الودية بين الجانبين المصري والهندي، والرغبة المشتركة في تعزيز التعاون المؤسسي بينهما.

H.E. Kamel Galal, Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to New Delhi, met with Mr. Gyanesh Kumar, Cheif of the Election Commission of India (ECI).

The two sides exchanged views on ways to enhance cooperation between Egypt and India, including the sharing of expertise in election management.

The meeting reflected the friendly relations between the two countries and their shared interest in strengthening institutional collaboration.

سفارة مصر في نيودلهي تحتفل بالذكرى الـ ٧٤ لثورة ٢٣ يوليو المجيدة

أقام السفير/ كامل جلال، سفير مصر لدى الهند، والسيدة حرمه، حفل استقبال بمُناسبة الاحتفال بالذكرى الـ ٧٤ لثورة ٢٣ يوليو المجيدة. وقد شارك في الاحتفال كضيف شرف الحفل السيد/ Pralhad Joshi ، وزير الطاقة الجديدة والمتجددة ممثلًا عن الحكومة الهندية، فضلًا عن لفيف من ممثلي الوزارات الهندية المختلفة، وسفراء الدول المعتمدة في الهند وأعضاء السلك الدبلوماسي ومُمثلي وسائل الإعلام ومراكز الأبحاث ومجتمع الأعمال والأكاديميين والصحفيين الهنود.

أشار السفير/ جلال في كلمته خلال الحفل إلى ما يجمع مصر والهند كحضارتين عظيمين من تاريخ طويل شهد أوج إزدهاره في مُنتصف القرن الماضي خلال نضال البلدين للتحرر من الاستعمار، ثم تأسيسهما معًا لحركة عدم الانحياز، وصولًا إلى تنامي علاقات الشراكة الاستراتيجية بين البلدين في المرحلة الحالية في مختلف المجالات الاقتصادية والتجارية والعسكرية والثقافية، كما استعرض السفير/ جلال مسيرة التنمية التي تشهدها مصر تحت قيادة الرئيس عبد الفتاح السيسي، مبرزًا الميزة النسبية التي يوفرها موقع مصر الجغرافي المتميز واتفاقيات التجارة الحرة التي تربط مصر بالعديد من دول العالم في النفاذ إلى الأسواق العربية والأفريقية والأوروبية.

حرص السفير المصري على الإشارة إلى جهود مصر الاقليمية والدولية في حفظ استقرار منطقة الشرق الأوسط، مؤكدًا استمرار دعم مصر لأشقائها العرب فيما يواجهونه من تحديات، ومركزية القضية الفلسطينية في السياسة الخارجية المصرية.

من جانبه هنأ السيد/ Pralhad Joshi مصر بمناسبة عيدها الوطني، مشيدًا بالعلاقات المصرية-الهندية وما تشهده من زخم خلال الفترة الأخيرة، معربًا عن تطلع بلاده لاستمرار التنسيق والعمل المشترك مع مصر في ضوء رئاسة الهند الحالية لتجمع "بريكس"، كما أكد تطلع بلاده لتعزيز التعاون مع مصر لاسيما في مجال الطاقة الجديدة والمتجددة.

The Egyptian Embassy in New Delhi Celebrates the 74th Anniversary of the Glorious July 23 Revolution

Ambassador Kamel Galal, Egypt’s Ambassador to India, and his wife hosted a reception to mark the 74th anniversary of the glorious July 23 Revolution. Mr. Pralhad Joshi, Minister of New and Renewable Energy, attended as the guest of honor representing the Indian government. The event was also attended by representatives from various Indian ministries, ambassadors accredited to India, members of the diplomatic corps, representatives from media outlets, think tanks, the business community, and academia, as well as Indian journalists.

In his address, Ambassador Galal highlighted the long history shared by Egypt and India as two great civilizations. He noted that the relationship between. Both counties countries flourished in the mid-20th century during both nations' struggles for liberation from colonialism and their joint founding of the Non-Aligned Movement. He also pointed to the current growth of the strategic partnership between the two countries across economic, trade, military, and cultural sectors. Furthermore, Ambassador Galal outlined the development journey Egypt is undergoing under the leadership of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, emphasizing the comparative advantages offered by Egypt’s prime geographical location and its free trade agreements, which facilitate market access to Arab, African, and European regions.

The Ambassador also highlighted Egypt’s regional and international efforts to maintain stability in the Middle East, reaffirming Egypt's continued support for its Arab brethren in facing challenges and underscoring the centrality of the Palestinian cause to Egyptian foreign policy.

For his part, Mr. Pralhad Joshi congratulated Egypt on its National Day, commending the Egyptian-Indian relations and the momentum they have recently witnessed. He expressed his country's aspiration to continue coordination and joint work with Egypt in light of India's current BRICS presidency, and emphasized the desire to strengthen cooperation, particularly in the field of new and renewable energy.

زار السفير/ كامل جلال، سفير جمهورية مصر العربية لدى الهند مقر شركة السويدي اليكتروميتيرز بالهند، حيث التقى بالسيد/ باسل إمبابي مدير فرع الشركة في نيودلهي، وعدد من العاملين من مختلف إدارات الشركة.

استمع السيد السفير/ كامل جلال خلال الزيارة إلى الشرح الوافي الذي قدمه مدير فرع الشركة حول استثمارات الشركة داخل الهند، وأبرز إنجازاتها في دعم جهود الحكومة الهندية نحو التحول للعدادات الإلكترونية.

من جانب أخر، حرص السفير/ كامل جلال على التعرف على أبرز المعوقات التي تواجه عمل الشركة، وسبل التغلب عليها، كما دار نقاش مع العاملين بالشركة حول مراحل الإنتاج المختلفة للعدادات الإلكترونية بدءً من مراحل البحث والتطوير، مرورًا باختبارات الجودة المختلفة، وانتهاءً بمراحل الإنتاج الكمي.

في نهاية الزيارة، شكر السيد السفير/ كامل جلال السيد/ باسل إمبابي مدير فرع الشركة والعاملين بها، على ما يبذلونه من جهد يسهم في دفع التعاون الاقتصادي بين مصر والهند.

تجدر الإشارة إلى أن شركة السويدي اليكتروميتيرز تعد من أكبر الشركات المصرية المستثمرة بالهند، وتحرص على استمرار أعمالها بالسوق الهندي على الرغم من التحديات التي واجهت قطاع العدادات الإلكترونية في الآونة الأخيرة.

H.E. Ambassador Kamel Galal, Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to India, visited the premises of Elsewedy Electrometers in India, where he met with Mr. Basel Embabi, the company's branch manager in New Delhi, and a number of employees from various departments.

During the visit, Ambassador Galal listened to a comprehensive briefing by the branch manager about the company's investments in India and its most notable achievements in supporting the Indian government's efforts to transition to smart/electronic meters.

Ambassador Galal was also keen on learning about the main obstacles the company faces and ways to overcome them. A discussion took place with company staff about the different stages of electronic meter production, from research and development through various quality tests to mass production.

At the end of the visit, Ambassador Galal thanked Mr. Basel Embabi, the branch manager, and the company’s employees for their efforts that help advance economic cooperation between Egypt and India.

It is worth noting that Elsewedy Electrometers is one of the largest Egyptian companies investing in India and is keen to continue its operations in the Indian market despite the challenges the electronic meters sector has faced lately.

في إطار التواصل مع الجاليات المصرية بالخارج، عقد السيد السفير/ كامل جلال، سفير جمهورية مصر العربية، لدى الهند بالتنسيق مع المكتب الثقافي في نيودلهي، لقاءً عبر الوسائل الافتراضية مع الطلبة المصريين في الهند.

نقل السيد السفير تهنئة فخامة رئيس الجمهورية عبد الفتاح السيسي إلى الجاليات المصرية بالخارج بمناسبة العام الهجري الجديد 1448، وأبرز حرص السفارة على استمرارية التواصل مع الطلبة المصريين في الهند وتقديم كافة أشكال الدعم اللازم لهم لضمان استكمال دراستهم في أفضل الظروف. كما ناقش مع الطلبة التحديات التي يواجهونها.

وأشار السيد السفير إلى أهمية دور الطلبة كسفراء لمصر في الهند، مشجعاً إياهم على الاستفادة من التقدم التكنولوجي والعلمي الذي تشهده الهند، مع الحفاظ على هويتهم الوطنية والمشاركة في الأنشطة الثقافية التي تنظمها السفارة.

من جانبهم، عبّر الطلبة عن تقديرهم للجهود التي تبذلها السفارة في متابعة شؤونهم وتسهيل إجراءاتهم، مؤكدين حرصهم على تمثيل مصر خير تمثيل خلال فترة دراستهم.

As part of its continued engagement with Egyptian communities abroad, H.E. Ambassador Kamel Galal, Egypt’s Ambassador to India, held a virtual meeting with Egyptian students studying across various universities in India. The meeting was organized in coordination with the Embassy’s Cultural Office in New Delhi.

During the meeting, Ambassador Galal conveyed the congratulations of H.E. President Abdel Fattah Alsisi to Egyptian communities abroad on the occasion of the new Hijri year 1448. He reaffirmed the Embassy’s commitment to maintaining regular communication with Egyptian students and providing all necessary support to ensure they complete their studies under the best possible conditions.

The Ambassador also discussed the challenges faced by the students and explored ways to address them.
He highlighted the important role students play as ambassadors of Egypt in India, encouraging them to benefit from India’s technological and scientific advancements while preserving their national identity and participating in the cultural activities organized by the Embassy.

The students expressed their appreciation for the Embassy’s ongoing support and its efforts in following up on their affairs and facilitating their procedures. They also affirmed their commitment to representing Egypt in the best possible manner during their time in India.
