شارك السفير / كامل جلال سفير جمهورية مصر العربية في نيودلهي كمتحدث رئيس في ندوة نظمتها جامعة O.P. Jindal العالمية حول قمة منتدى الهند - أفريقيا والعلاقات الهندية الأفريقية.
أكد السفير / كامل جلال خلال مداخلاته أهمية تعزيز التعاون بين الهند وأفريقيا في مواجهة تحديات الجنوب العالمي، بما في ذلك أزمات الديون وتغير المناخ وأمن الغذاء والطاقة والفجوة التكنولوجية.
وأشار اتصالا بذلك إلي ضرورة التركيز على الاستثمار في الشباب والتعليم والتأهيل المهني والتحول الرقمي والطاقة النظيفة والرعاية الصحية والذكاء الاصطناعي وربط البنى التحتية، فضلاً عن تحويل مخرجات التعاون إلى نتائج ملموسة تعود بالنفع على شعوب الجانبين.
كما أوضح السفير أهمية حسن استغلال الموقع الجغرافي المتميز لمصر باعتبارها نقطة ربط بين أفريقيا والشرق الأوسط والبحر المتوسط، في دعم التصنيع المشترك وسلاسل الإمداد والنفاذ إلى الأسواق الأفريقية والعربية والأوروبية.

H.E. Ambassador Kamel Galal, Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to New Delhi, participated as a keynote speaker in a seminar organized by O.P. Jindal Global University on the India–Africa Forum Summit and India–Africa relations.
During the discussion, Ambassador Galal underscored the importance of deepening India–Africa cooperation in addressing the pressing challenges facing the Global South, including debt crises, climate change, food and energy security, and the widening technological divide.
He also highlighted the need to invest in youth, education, vocational training, digital transformation, clean energy, healthcare, artificial intelligence, and infrastructure connectivity, while ensuring that the outcomes of bilateral cooperation translate into tangible benefits for the peoples of both India and Africa.
The Ambassador further emphasized the strategic importance of Egypt’s geographic location as a gateway connecting Africa, the Middle East, and the Mediterranean region, noting its potential to support joint manufacturing, strengthen supply chains, and facilitate access to African, Arab, and European markets.

تشرفت اليوم السيدة ريهام حندوسة، حرم سفير جمهورية مصر العربية في نيودلهي، باستضافة الغذاء الشهري لزوجات السفراء المعتمدين في دولة الهند، في لقاء اتسم بالدفء والتبادل الثقافي المميز.

وقد تناولت الفعالية الحديث عن واحة سيوة كواحدة من أهم المقاصد السياحية الفريدة في مصر، لما تتمتع به من طبيعة خلابة وخصوصية بيئية مميزة، إلى جانب شهرتها في مجال الاستشفاء من خلال بحيراتها الملحية.

كما سلطت الضوء على دور المرأة السيوية، مبرزةً خصوصية حياتها اليومية، والأزياء التراثية التي تعكس هوية الواحة، والحلي التقليدية، إضافة إلى المأكولات المحلية التي تعبر عن تراث غني وعريق.

وشهد اللقاء أيضاً مقارنة ثقافية ثرية بين الحلي في واحة سيوة ونظيرتها في الهند، حيث تم استعراض أوجه التشابه في القيمة الرمزية والجمالية للحلي، ودورها المهم في حياة المرأة في كلا الثقافتين.

وقد استمتعت السيدات الحاضرات بعرض الـ presentation عن الواحة، ومشاهدة ملابس سيوة على الطبيعة، وتذوق الطعام المصري، وبالأخص التمر والزيتون السيوي.

كان يوماً مميزاً جمع بين الثقافة، والتقاليد، وجمال التنوع.

السفير المصري يلتقي برئيس لجنة العلاقات الخارجية بمجلس النواب الهندي

التقى السفير كامل جلال، سفير جمهورية مصر العربية في نيودلهي، الدكتور شاشي طارور، رئيس لجنة العلاقات الخارجية بمجلس النواب الهندي، وأحد أبرز المفكرين السياسيين في الهند.

تطرق الجانبان خلال اللقاء إلى ما يجمع مصر والهند من علاقات صداقة تاريخية، وناقشا المسار الحالي للعلاقات بين البلدين، بما في ذلك بحث السبل الكفيلة بتعزيز هذه العلاقات في مختلف المجالات، مع التركيز بشكل خاص على تعزيز التواصل والتعاون البرلماني. كما تبادل الجانبان وجهات النظر بشأن التطورات الإقليمية والدولية ذات الاهتمام المشترك.

وأعرب رئيس لجنة العلاقات الخارجية بالبرلمان الهندي عن اعتزازه بعلاقات الصداقة التي تجمع مصر والهند، وتقديره لمصر باعتبارها شريكا مهما للهند.

In fulfillment of an invitation extended by the National Defence College (NDC) of the Indian Ministry of Defence, H.E. Ambassador Kamel Galal, Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to the Republic of India, delivered a lecture entitled "Security Challenges of Egypt & its Neighbourhood" to the Indian and international officer-students at the College. The event was attended by the Egyptian Defence Attaché, Brigadier General. Bassem Nagy.

The lecture encompassed a comprehensive review of the intensifying security challenges across the Arab region and the Middle East, encompassing those arising from geopolitical tensions, the proliferation of non-state actors, and the diminishing salience of the nation-state paradigm.

Furthermore, Ambassador Galal underscored the enduring principles of Egypt's foreign policy, the defining elements of its policy of "Strategic Balancing," as well as Egypt's diplomatic endeavors aimed at fostering regional stability and resolving conflicts. These efforts include mediation initiatives in diverse zones of contention, alongside a firm emphasis on the superior efficacy of diplomatic instruments relative to alternative approaches in managing regional crises.

The lecture was marked by substantive engagement with the officer-students, responses to their diverse queries, and reiteration of the profound depth of Egypt-India bilateral relations.

تلبية لدعوة كلية الدفاع الوطني التابعة لوزارة الدفاع الهندية، ألقى السفير/ كامل جلال، سفير جمهورية مصر العربية لدى الهند، محاضرة بعنوان "التحديات الأمنية لمصر ومنطقة جوارها" أمام الضباط الدارسين بالكلية من الهنود والأجانب، وذلك بحضور السيد ملحق الدفاع المصري العميد أ.ح/ باسم ناجي.

تضمنت المحاضرة استعراض التحديات الأمنية المتزايدة في المنطقة العربية والشرق الأوسط بما في ذلك الناتجة عن التوترات الجيوسياسية، وتنامي ظاهرة الفاعلين من غير الدول، وتراجع مفهوم الدولة الوطنية.

كما أبرز السفير/ كامل جلال خلال المحاضرة ثوابت السياسة الخارجية المصرية، ومحددات سياسة "الاتزان الاستراتيجي"، وكذلك المساهمات الدبلوماسية المصرية في محاولة استقرار المنطقة وإنهاء الصراعات، بما في ذلك جهود الوساطة في مناطق النزاع المختلفة، والتأكيد على أهمية نجاعة الوسائل الدبلوماسية على غيرها من الحلول في التعامل مع الأزمات في المنطقة.

شهدت المحاضرة تفاعلًا مع الضباط الدارسين بالكلية، والرد على استفساراتهم المختلفة، والتأكيد على عمق العلاقات المصرية الهندية.

His Excellency Kamel Galal, Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to India, undertook a two-city visit to Chennai on 28 April and Bengaluru on 29 April 2026, in close coordination with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII).

The Ambassador held high-level roundtable meetings with Indian companies and industry leaders in both cities. The interactive sessions focused on exploring opportunities for enhanced economic cooperation and investment opportunities between Egypt and India, with special emphasis on sectors such as manufacturing, renewable energy, logistics, pharmaceuticals, and technology.

Addressing Indian business delegations, Ambassador Galal highlighted the attractive investment incentives offered by Egypt, including competitive tax benefits, streamlined regulatory frameworks, and the development of modern industrial zones. He particularly underscored Egypt’s strategic geographic location as a natural gateway connecting Europe, Asia, and Africa, supported by world-class infrastructure and the Suez Canal.

The visits provided a valuable platform for direct engagement between Egyptian diplomacy and Indian industry, paving the way for stronger bilateral trade and investment flows.

CII representatives expressed appreciation for the Ambassador’s proactive engagement and reiterated their commitment to facilitating follow-up business interactions between Indian companies and Egyptian counterparts.

While in Chennai, Ambassador Galal seized the opportunity to personally visit Mr. Vijay Sankar, Chairman of TCI Sanmar, where he held a detailed meeting to review the company’s existing investments in Egypt and discuss avenues for deeper cooperation.

The discussions highlighted the strong performance of TCI Sanmar’s operations in Egypt and explored new opportunities for growth in the Egyptian market

His Excellency Ambassador Kamel Galal, Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to India, participated in a panel discussion on tourism at the WION Iconic Travel & Tourism Summit.

In his address, Ambassador Galal highlighted the ancient and deep-rooted cultural ties between Egypt and India, two of the world’s oldest civilizations that have shared historical connections spanning thousands of years. He emphasized how these civilizational bonds continue to serve as a strong foundation for enhancing people-to-people relations and tourism cooperation today.

Ambassador Galal showcased the remarkable development and transformation in Egypt’s tourism sector, including the modernization of infrastructure, the opening of new attractions such as the Grand Egyptian Museum, and the country’s commitment to offering world-class experiences to international visitors.

He also highlighted the measures taken by the Egyptian government to facilitate visa delivery for Indian citizens, making it easier and more convenient for Indian tourists to explore the wonders of Egypt.

Ambassador Galal’s insightful intervention underscored Egypt’s keen interest in welcoming more Indian travelers and strengthening bilateral tourism ties between the two friendly nations.

Conclusion of the Joint 🇪🇬-🇮🇳 Exercise "Cyclone-4"

The activities of the joint Egyptian-Indian exercise "Cyclone-4" have concluded, featuring the participation of elements from both the Egyptian and Indian Commando Forces. The exercise spanned several days and took place at the combat training grounds of the Commando Forces in the Arab Republic of Egypt, attended by a number of Commando Force commanders and the Indian Military Attaché in Cairo.

The various stages of the training included a series of theoretical and practical lectures aimed at standardizing concepts among the participating forces, as well as an exhibition of weapons and equipment. Furthermore, the training focused on optimal procedures for handling Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs).

The final phase of the exercise featured a simulated raid on a terrorist cell located within a residential area, utilizing helicopters. This operation involved the rescue of hostages, the apprehension of terrorist elements, and the provision of first aid and casualty evacuation. Additionally, a series of unconventional live-fire drills were conducted, highlighting the precision and high proficiency of the troops in engaging targets from both stationary and moving positions.

The various training stages demonstrated the advanced level of readiness and high technical skills attained by the participating elements, as well as their capability to execute all assigned missions with efficiency and competence.

This exercise falls within the framework of the Armed Forces' commitment to exchanging training expertise and strengthening the bonds of military cooperation with friendly and brotherly nations.
