I (CJP) founder on Monday announced a nationwide drive aimed at upgrading government schools in rural areas. The initiative will encourage parents to carry out social audits of essential facilities and urge sarpanches to take responsibility for improving schools in their villages.

The campaign is scheduled to begin on August 15, with the CJP asking citizens, parents and village representatives to join efforts against what it described as the continued neglect of educational infrastructure in rural communities. Dipke said he would begin the movement from his village, Hingoli in Maharashtra, by meeting the village head and seeking improvements to local government schools.

In a video message, Dipke noted that August 15 will mark India’s 80th Independence Day and questioned why village schools have remained neglected despite the construction of new government buildings elsewhere. He also highlighted the difficulties faced by rural children, including long journeys to reach schools and inadequate access to essentials such as drinking water and toilets.
