Guidelines for Donors (What to Prepare)
To ensure the donation is useful and respectful, donors should follow these rules:
Condition Check: Only donate clothes that are gently used, clean, and wearable.
A good rule of thumb is: "If you wouldn't give it to a friend, don't donate it".
Wash and Dry: Items must be washed, dried, and free from odors, stains, rips, or broken zippers.
Sort and Pack: Sort items by type (e.g., men, women, children) and fold them neatly. Place items in durable, labeled plastic bags or sturdy cardboard boxes.
Remove Personal Items: Thoroughly check all pockets and bags for personal items, such as cash, jewelry, or documents.
Items to Avoid: Do not donate undergarments, socks, worn-out shoes, or soiled clothing.
Logistics & Disposal: Deliver to our Reception Stall at ‘Bengali ADDA Bango Milan Mela 2026’ with name and mobile number. Items those are not suitable for donation, will not be accepted.
