kauravas and Pandavas were trained by Guru Dronacharya in the foot hills of Himalaya thats why Dehradun is also known as Drona Nagari. India's best schools and training institutes are located in Uttarakhand. Education in the state of Uttarakhand has a sound background, right from the inception of the state. Department of education is running ahead and getting shape gradually.
