5th September 2024.

Government Tingley Secondary School, Namchi District observed Teachers' Day with pomp and show to mark the birth anniversary of Sarvapalli Dr Radhakrishna, a great educationist and statesman.The program started with the lighting of the lamp by school headmaster followed by welcome speech by literacy prefect Ms Sashna Rai. Headmaster highlighted the importance of the day 5th Sept .
Then, students presented vibrant cultural program.However, the teachers also had opportunity to showcase their talents. The program concluded with the words of thanks from Anjel Lepcha girls prefect followed by delicious lunch which we had heart's content.

Government Tingley Secondary School, Namchi District bagged 1st Position again after last years victory simultaneously in the (Patriotic Dance Competition) Senior Category held at Bal Krishna Kasaju SSS Namthang on the occasion of 78th Independence Day Celebration.

We the Family of TingleySS would like extend our utmost gratitude to the Committee, Organisers and wellwisher of Namthang Ratepani Constituency and Namthang SSS.

Today following the guidelines form the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment Government Tingley Secondary School, Namchi District hosted "Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan" (NMBA).
The theme of this Campaign is to enhance the evidence based apporach towards Substance abuse/Narcotics, in simple words it's to educate youths about the detrimental side of drugs and other identical substances and it's repercussions.
Headmaster Sir, Teachers and Students sworn in the pledge of NMBA and hosted some of the activities like Marathon and Plantation.

Day - 6 (Eco Clubs for Mission Life/School Nutrition Day)

As for the 6th Day of Shiksha Saptah scheduled the Eco Club of the school observed Eco Club for Mission Life Day (27-07-2024) with the active participations of the Eco Club members, Teachers, S.M.C, Parents and the Students. The officials from the Forest Deptt, Namthang and JFMC president with team also had their presence.

On the occasion of 210th Bhanu Jayanti 2024, Students of Government Tingley Secondary School, Namchi District participated in various activities which included Ramayan Paath, Sketch Portrait Painting and Nepali Reading etc.

Our Students were able to secure 1st Position in Ramayan Paath and 2nd positions in Sketch Portrait Painting and Nepali Reading.
