Strengthening healthcare access at the grassroots level, a special door-to-door Vay Vandana Card creation drive for citizens aged 70 years and above was successfully conducted at Longhua Village, Longding District, Arunachal Pradesh, by the District Program Coordinator and Arogya Mitra of CMAAY/AB PM-JAY under the State Health Agency, along with the District Early Intervention Center team.

The initiative witnessed active participation from senior citizens and focused on ensuring hassle-free enrollment, awareness generation, and wider healthcare coverage for the elderly population under the scheme.

Reaching the Last Mile in Healthcare!

An AB PM-JAY Beneficiary Saturation Drive was successfully conducted at Kheti Village, Tirap District, Arunachal Pradesh, by the SHA district team. Through door-to-door awareness across 15 households and effective community mobilization, eligible beneficiaries were enrolled and verified on the spot. A total of 11 beneficiaries were successfully covered under AB PM-JAY and Vay Vandana Scheme, with special focus on senior citizens, reinforcing the commitment to last-mile delivery of healthcare benefits.
