Free Health Check-up Camp Organized by Pench Tiger Reserve! 🩺✨
​A grand Free Health Check-up Camp was successfully organized today at the Minco Tourism Complex, Kolitmara, under the joint aegis of Pench Tiger Reserve and Rotary Club Nagpur.
​
Under the guidance of Mr. Akshay Gajbhiye (Deputy Director, Pench Tiger Reserve), hundreds of citizens from remote areas received medical consultations and check-ups from expert doctors.

​✅ Key Highlights of the Camp:
​ Dental check-up and treatment
​ Eye examinations
​ Blood pressure and general health check-up
​ Bone and joint (Orthopedic) screening
​The camp benefited forest department staff, residents of various villages in the buffer zone, and students from the Tribal Ashram School at Kolitmara. This initiative of community service alongside wildlife conservation is truly commendable!

A one-day Community Forest Rights (CFR) workshop was successfully conducted on 05 April 2026 at Dhanesh Tourism Complex, Surewani under Nagalwadi Range (UC).
The workshop provided practical guidance on Gram Sabha roles, Minor Forest Produce management, bamboo and tendu auction procedures, and Micro Plan preparation, with active participation from CFR committee members and frontline forest staff.

Promoting community participation for effective forest management and sustainable village development.
