The Farewell Ceremony of Dr. Amita Patar, Programme Officer of the NSS Unit, Nowgong Girls’ College, organized in collaboration with the NCC Unit, was successfully conducted with a blend of emotions and joy. The programme concluded on a memorable note, enriched by Ma’am’s inspiring speech, which imparted valuable life lessons. The event also evoked a sense of nostalgia as everyone reflected upon the cherished memories and experiences shared under her guidance.

On the occasion of the 25th death anniversary of eminent novelist, professor, and former President of the Assam Sahitya Sabha, Late Hitesh Deka, a Memorial Meeting and Felicitation Programme was organized at Nonoi College by “সতীৰ্থ গৱেষণা সত্ৰ” in association with the NSS units of Nonoi College and Nowgong Girls’ College, in collaboration with Chandra Prakash, Guwahati. Several distinguished speakers delivered valuable and inspiring speeches highlighting his life and literary creations. A special guest, Dr. Umesh Deka, son of Late Hitesh Deka, also graced the occasion. The event was a heartfelt tribute to his writings, contributions, and inspirational life.

On the auspicious occasion of 15th August, the 𝙉𝙎𝙎 𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙩 of 𝙉𝙤𝙬𝙜𝙤𝙣𝙜 𝙂𝙞𝙧𝙡𝙨’ 𝘾𝙤𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙜𝙚 proudly participated in the 𝙄𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙥𝙚𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝘿𝙖𝙮 celebration held at 𝙉𝙪𝙧𝙪𝙡 𝘼𝙢𝙞𝙣 𝙎𝙩𝙖𝙙𝙞𝙪𝙢, Nagaon.
