Few glimpses of the first day of Juria Sub office under Nagaon ESD-II APDCL

One complaint cm bill collection centre has been inaugurated inside the premises of 33/11 KV Juria Sub station on 23/07/2021 in the presence of The General Manager, NEZ, APDCL, THE CEO, NEC, APDCL and THE AGM, NED-I, APDCL.

The centre will remain open on Tuesday and Thursday of every week. Hope that we can serve our valued consumers in a better way by this small effort.

উল্লেখ কৰা প্ৰয়োজন যে সপ্তাহৰ প্ৰত্যেক মঙ্গল আৰু বৃহস্পতিবাৰে ইং ২৩/০৭/২০২১ তাৰিখৰ পৰা বিদ্যুৎ বিল উক্ত কাৰ্যালয়ত জমা দিব পাৰিব।

Clarification regarding clearance of electricity bills by State Govt. employees prior to disbursement of salary:
 Case: 1- If the employee has an electricity connection by his/her name anywhere in Assam, even if he/she does not reside at his/her own residence.

In such case, the receipt/invoice of payment of the current month’s electricity bill has to be provided along with a copy of the electricity bill.

 Case: 2- If the employee resides with his/her parents or spouse but the electricity connection is not in his/her name but in the name of either his/her parents or spouse.

In such case, the employee has to provide a self-declaration that he resides with his/her parents or spouse but the electricity connection is not in his/her name but in the name of either his/her parents or spouse. The receipt/invoice of payment of the current month’s electricity bill of his/her residence has to be provided along with a copy of the electricity bill.

 Case: 3- If the employee resides in a rented house and does not have an electricity connection in his/her name anywhere in Assam (also applicable for employees from outside the state who draws salary from the GOA)

In such case, the employee has to submit a self-declaration that he/she resides in a rented house and that he/she does not have any electricity connection in his/her name anywhere in Assam.

 Case: 4- If the employee resides in any Govt. quarter with parents or spouse where payment is deducted from salary (e.g. Railway quarters) or paid centrally, but he/she draws salary from GOA and does not have any electricity connection in his/her name anywhere in Assam.

In such case, the employee has to submit a self-declaration that he/she resides in a Govt. quarter where payment is deducted from salary (e.g. Railway quarters) or paid centrally and that he/she does not have any electricity connection in his/her name anywhere in Assam."

Date:10/06/2021 : Field visit at Khatowal, Nagaon, where consumer had issues with the digital meter reading after a complaint was received at NESD2.
Have explained to them about the probable fact of excess billed and necessary action being taken.
Requesting customer to visit the CBDF in their Area at first and if the problem persist. NESD-2, APDCL, Nagaon is always ready for all kind of support.
