One day CBSE training programme on the 'Use of Artificial Intelligence in the classrooms' was organized in Dayanand Public School, Pandusar, Nabha on May 2,2026. Mr Napoliyan Nelson, PGT, Chandigarh Baptist School, Chandigarh and Ms. Minakshi Janjua, TGT, Guru Teg Bahadur Public School, Bardwal, Dhuri were the resource persons for the day. The program started with Deep Prajwalan by the resource persons along with the Principal. The purpose of the training was to equip teachers with the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively integrate AI into the teaching-learning process. The session focused on enhancing educators’ understanding of Artificial Intelligence and its growing importance in modern education which emphasizes the development of 21st-century skills among students.
During the training, expert resource persons introduced the participants to the basic concepts of Artificial Intelligence and explained how these can be incorporated across various subjects. The session included demonstrations of AI tools that can be used for lesson planning, assessment and personalized learning. Teachers were actively engaged through interactive activities, discussions and real-life classroom examples, which helped them understand how AI can make teaching more effective and student-centered. The training also highlighted the importance of ethical and responsible use of AI in education.
The programme proved to be highly informative and enriching, as it enhanced the confidence of teachers in using technology in classrooms. Overall, the training was a valuable initiative that encouraged educators to embrace modern pedagogical practices and prepare students for a technologically advanced future. In the end, the token of gratitude was given to both the resource persons. The program ended with Sukhna Mantra.
