Preamble to Party's constitution

India, in the words of Swami Vivekananda, is a country where wisdom made its home before it went into any other country. India is one of the oldest living civilisations of the world. It has nurtured the Human race and has been a home to myriad of virtues regarding human excellence. It is also a land which is full of abundant natural resources. India is the second most populous country in the world. So both historically and in current times India occupies an important position in the world and to have a political system that reflects the aspirations of the people of the country is of utmost importance.

To anyone who has traveled across India and has seen people of various backgrounds, it is not so difficult to understand that there is much to be done to safeguard this land and to create an ideal atmosphere for our citizens and future generations. Even with all our advancements in Science, Technology, Education and Religion, it is quite evident that our political culture should evolve further. Even today the votes are bought with money. Religion, Caste and Money are playing a very big part in the choice of candidates for elections. Consequently our Assemblies and Parliament are filled with many people who do not represent the true aspirations of our people. Such representatives have dragged our progress backwards. Barring honorable exceptions a common man has never had an opportunity to become a representative and work for the people. Our future Democracy should be one where all people can participate without distinction of caste and creed, a new system has to evolve with citizen at the center, service as the motto and democracy as the way. That will make us a democratic nation in the real sense.

With the objective of creating a new political culture that encourages internal democracy, honors merit and sets a new standard in Indian Politics, we, the like-minded citizens of India have decided to come together and form a new political party - Vivek Bharat Nirman Party.
