The Maharashtra State Innovation Council was formed on 4th March 2014 with a mandate to create and nurture a climate of innovation and entrepreneurship within the state of Maharashtra,
The council which consists of eminent personalities from the field of science & technology along with representatives of various industries associations and government departments will advise and direct the efforts of the state government to promote innovation & encourage startups & Entrepreneurship in the state
