This is to inform all students that the *Social Service League* is inviting applications for the formation of the Core Committee for the academic year 2020-2021
The interested students are requested to email their applications latest by *28th November* before *5 p.m*. The application shall contain the following

1. A cover letter addressed to the Professor-in-charge of the committee
2. A copy of the CV highlighting the contributions of the applicant towards the committee in the previous academic years along with other academic and extra-curricular achievements.

Smt. Vinatadevi Tope Social Service League of Government Law College is organising the annual *Principal Dr. T. K. Tope Memorial Lecture* to be delivered by the *Hon'ble Mr. Justice (Retd.) S. C. Dharmadhikari* on the topic *Free Speech and Sedition*.

Date: 28th February, 2020

Time: 5 to 7 pm

Venue: Walchand Hirachand Hall, Indian Merchants' Chamber, Churchgate, Mumbai - 400 020

Greetings!

Smt.Vinatadevi Tope Social Service League successfully conducted 'ipolicy for Young Leaders' with Centre for Civil Society from April 6-8, 2018.

The 3 days' Certificate Course in Policy Making involved dynamic games,talks, dialogues and documentaries, designed to provide participants with opportunities to explore and share ideas about policy based solutions to social problems from a liberal perspective. It equipped them to look beyond the obvious, think beyond good intentions and act beyond activism.

Participants were given the opportunity to delve into the principles of sound public policy, RTE Act, role of institutions and prices in framing a policy, new public management and public policy evaluation.

We are grateful to Centre for Civil Society for providing us with this opportunity.
