IAPA - Indian Association for Promotion of  Adoption & Child Welfare Our programs for the child are family and community oriented based on the principle of family playing a critical role in the child's life.

The Indian Association for Promotion of Adoption & Child Welfare (IAPA) formed in 1970, is an NGO working in the field of adoption, foster family care, education,alternate family care, mental health, vocational training Indian Association for Promotion of Adoption and Child Welfare (IAPA) is committed to working with children facing varied adverse circumstances since the past 50 years. We believe that adequate family care is crucial for child's emotional and social health. Adoption, Foster Family Care, Educational Support, Psychological Health Programme along with allied support services for the under-privileged children form the core of our programs and activities. Orphaned/ abandoned children, children in critical family circumstances and children of disadvantaged families who lack support for education and development for a better future benefit from our programmes. At any given time our organisation reaches out to around 1000 children and their families through our various programs, in urban and rural areas.
