Just days ago, little Mohit was an active, happy 1-year-old. Today, his family is praying for him to wake up. A sudden fever led to seizures and a devastating diagnosis of Acute Necrotizing Encephalopathy. His condition worsened rapidly, and he is now unconscious and on ventilator support. Daljeet’s wife keeps hoping that the next time she sees him, he will open his eyes and look back at her. His three children are waiting for their father, and his 4-month-old baby is growing up without even knowing why he is not home.

On 2 August, a road accident left Daljeet with severe bleeding in his brain, brain swelling, and a skull fracture. He underwent emergency brain surgery and is now semi-conscious and on a ventilator in the ICU, with doctors closely monitoring his condition. His treatment needs to continue, but the hospital bills are becoming increasingly difficult for his family to manage.

They are holding on to the hope that Daljeet will recover and once again hold his children in his arms. Please help keep that hope alive!
