I still remember the moment my child started seizing in my arms. I couldn’t do anything except watch. The MRI revealed a severe brain infection. Since then, my 2-year-old Lohith has been in the ICU, covered in tubes fighting every second to stay alive. Every day on the ventilator is a battle. "I still remember the day my little daughter, Snehashree, was born, just like it was yesterday. But at 5 months old, fever, pain, and black stools became part of her tiny life. Soon, we heard the words no parent is ever ready for - Mixed phenotype acute leukaemia. On 3rd May, my 1-year-old daughter underwent a bone marrow transplant. Today, she is stable but her battle is far from over. Every week, she needs medicines, blood tests, immune monitoring, and virus screenings to survive this recovery. Missing even one treatment could put everything at risk! I dream of the day my daughter goes to school, carries her books and grows up to become an engineer.
