Over the last 7 years of working with companies and social organisations to conceptualise, design and implement CSR strategies, we have developed a keen understanding of some of the key challenges within the social sector and potential solutions to tackle them. Samhita GoodCSR is our answer to one of the critical needs in the ecosystem. The need for an efficient marketplace to connect companies an
d NGOs to build meaningful partnerships. The need to match available funds with impactful programs and the need to find credible NGOs to run well-monitored programs. Samhita GoodCSR keeps in mind the requirements of both companies and NGOs and on-ground practicalities. It is being developed after carefully documenting, replicating and streamlining the CSR process in companies, from selecting programs to partnering with NGOs and from executing projects to evaluating spends and project impact. It is a marketplace which aims to make the CSR process highly efficient and intelligent, yet uncomplicated, for all stakeholders involved. The platform is being developed by Samhita Social Ventures in collaboration with Collective Good Foundation and is supported by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and the Tata Trusts.
