Інформація для громадян України, які виїжджають за кордон
МЗС відомо про випадки, коли в окремих державах ЄС у громадян України, у тому числі у жінок, під час оформлення тимчасового захисту вимагаються відомості з "Резерв+".

❗️Важливо. Такі випадки не є масовими та пов'язані із запровадженням ЄС нових правил отримання тимчасового захисту (рішення Ради ЄС 2026/1912 від 30.07.2026) та відсутністю станом на сьогодні єдиних централізованих роз'яснень щодо їхнього застосування.
Ситуація має тимчасовий характер, і українська сторона очікує від ЄС якнайшвидшого унормування практики.

❓Що необхідно зробити вже зараз при виїзді з України.
Для уникнення можливих труднощів під час оформлення тимчасового захисту в країнах ЄС радимо всім громадянам України, незалежно від статі та віку, під час виїзду з України отримувати штамп (відмітку) про перетин кордону в закордонному паспорті від офіцера Державної прикордонної служби України.

During Russia’s morning attack on August 20, a drone struck the building of the Kherson Regional Art Museum named after Oleksii Shovkunenko.

The fire completely destroyed furniture and chairs and partially burned the parquet flooring in the corridors. Books in the corridor of one of the museum’s storage facilities were also damaged. No one was injured.

The museum is a cultural heritage site marked with the international Blue Shield emblem and protected under international law. The world cannot turn a blind eye while Russia continues to destroy, burn and attempt to take away Ukraine’s heritage – something the terrorist state has repeatedly sought to erase throughout history.

Kyiv has lived through a massive air attack. Russia launched dozens of ballistic and cruise missiles, killing at least 12 and injuring around 40 others.

A residential building, an industrial facility, warehouses, hospitals, cars, a school, and a store were damaged. In the Kyiv region, one person was killed and seven others were injured. Four private residential buildings were destroyed, while another four were damaged. In the Odesa region, Russia carried out a drone attack on a border crossing with Moldova. In the Chernihiv region, the enemy targeted gas infrastructure.

As rescuers are working to save people in the aftermath of the deadly attack, the world must act decisively to provide Ukraine with more air defense capabilities. New packages mean more lives saved and infrastructure protected every day. As long as Ukraine lacks the air defense needed to counter ballistic threats, Russia will not consider peace seriously.

During today’s prisoner exchange, 103 Ukrainian defenders returned home from Russian captivity.

Among them are service members of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the State Border Guard Service, and the National Guard, including soldiers who defended Mariupol and fought along the Donetsk, Luhansk, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, Dnipro, and Sumy sectors. Most of them suffered injuries or have serious illnesses.

Every day, Ukraine works to bring its defenders home, as well as Ukrainian civilians who have been unlawfully imprisoned by Russia. We are grateful to all our partners who support us in this effort.

Today, the Ukrainian Parliament voted to reappoint Andrii Sybiha as Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine 🇺🇦

Under the leadership of the Minister, the diplomatic team will continue advancing Ukraine’s national interests on the global stage, consolidating international support to end Russia’s war, restore a just and lasting peace, and ensure that the Russian Federation is held accountable.

We will continue strengthening Ukraine’s Security and Defence Forces and using diplomacy to increase pressure on Russia. Our priorities are enhancing the protection of Ukraine’s sky against ballistic attacks and strengthening the resilience of our energy system ahead of the winter.

We will continue to stand united by protecting the rights of our citizens abroad and helping preserve their ties to Ukraine and their national identity. We will advance Ukraine’s integration into the EU and NATO, cement Ukraine’s new geopolitical role as a security partner and contributor, and develop pragmatic, good-neighbourly relations with our partners. We will work to strengthen the resilience of Ukraine’s economy and ensure the continuity of food exports amid ongoing challenges.

We will work together and stand firmly behind every decision that serves Ukraine and its national interests.

This year, Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra marks its 975th anniversary – almost a millennium of history in the hills above the Dnipro River.

Established in 1051 as a cave monastery, the Lavra has witnessed centuries of change, from the times of Rus to modern-day Ukraine. Its history stretches back to the same era as many of the world’s best-known historic and spiritual centres.

The monastic complex has grown and transformed over time, while its role as a centre of religious life, culture, education and intellectual tradition has endured. Today, the Lavra remains a powerful part of Ukraine’s living heritage.

🧩 The Puzzle of Unity series continues with another story from Ukraine’s rich cultural and historical heritage. Today, we share more about Kosiv painted ceramics.

Kosiv ceramics represent Ukrainian folk art from the Carpathians, with a tradition dating back at least to the 18th century. Scenes of everyday life – work, celebrations, and leisure – are hand-engraved with a metal stylus on raw clay and then painted with enamels and glaze.

In 2019, Kosiv painted ceramics were inscribed on UNESCO’s Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, affirming their status as one of the most vivid symbols of Ukraine’s cultural heritage.

Short fact: Only three traditional colours dominate Kosiv jugs, plates, and stove tiles: yellow, green, and brown, inspired by the Carpathian nature.

It may be hard to comprehend what 975 years means. Not just the changing of seasons, but generations of people, societies, technologies and even empires coming and going.

Yet some places have stood through it all – and now the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra marks its 975th anniversary.

For almost a millennium, the Lavra has been a place where culture and knowledge have flourished. It brought together scholars, writers, artists, craftsmen and physicians, leaving a lasting mark on Ukraine’s and Europe’s spiritual and cultural life.

The Lavra’s history is a powerful reminder of why it must be protected – as a part of Ukraine’s national memory and of the world’s shared cultural heritage.
