Navnirman Samaj Vikas Kendra (NSVK) was established in 1996 by a handful of like-minded people committed to bring about a social change. Today, it boasts of teams of 100 volunteers, 7 fully operational projects under its wings and 2 self-sustained projects owned by community. It operates in the slum areas of Goregaon to Dahisar in Western Mumbai and Dharavi in Central Mumbai with all communities i

rrespective of religion or political affiliation. The objective is to promote economic betterment, mutual respect and understanding among themselves. NSVK supports those on or below the poverty line in developing their autonomies so that they are able to improve their respective situation by using their own resources. The different projects undertaken by us are as follows:
1. IGP ( Income Generation Programme)
2. BDS ( Business Development Scheme)
3. FDP ( Family Development Programme)
4. HMF ( Health Mutual Fund )
5. Tuberculosis Control Project
