In all reality, we never planned to.

But the persistence of the village Gram Sarpanch to provide an opportunity to his village women to learn an art and earn for themselves, along with the willingness of so many women to adapt to a skill, happily compelled us to.

Recognition as a "Shakti," a symbol of strength and empowerment, is both meaningful and inspiring. It reaffirms my belief in the power of resilience, determination, and collective action to drive positive change.
