Empowering MSEs, Strengthening India
Driving inclusive growth and strengthening India’s entrepreneurial ecosystem, Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL), (NAPS), organised a Vendor Development Programme for Micro and Small Enterprises at Aligarh in association with NSIC, Ministry of MSME. Aligned with the Public Procurement Policy for MSEs (2012), the initiative focused on enhancing participation of MSEs, including SC/ST and women-led enterprises, in NPCIL’s procurement processes across its pan India operations. With participation from around 50 entrepreneurs, the programme served as a vibrant platform for industry interaction and knowledge sharing on NPCIL’s procurement lifecycle, GeM portal onboarding, and key initiatives such as Make in India, TReDS, and Zero Defect Zero Effect (ZED).
Senior officials from NPCIL, NSIC, and District Industries Centre highlighted the pivotal role of MSEs in driving economic growth, innovation, and employment, while reaffirming NPCIL’s commitment to ensuring a transparent, inclusive, and level playing field for all stakeholders in nation-building.
