COVID-19 Nutrition Drive at NAGAYALANKA on 01st June 2020
Nourishing Families, Building Immunity.
COVID-19 lockdowns hit the daily wage earners, slum dwellers, and vulnerable families hardest. Livelihoods vanished overnight, leaving millions fighting hunger and malnutrition. When the pandemic took away livelihoods, recognized that essential nutrition was needed to boost immunity and sustain families. Understanding that protein is crucial for fighting infections, we launched a massive drive to distribute eggs to vulnerable communities. We aimed to provide a substantial nutritional boost. By distributing a carton of 30 eggs per family, we ensured each family had a reliable source of protein for their children and elders for at least a month.
NGO brought high-protein nutrition to the doorsteps of those who needed it most. 30 Eggs per Family distributed to over 150 vulnerable households in NAGAYALANA Village, Andhra Pradesh, INDIA. Our tireless volunteers worked on the ground, wearing masks and following safety protocols, to distribute protein food directly to the doorstep of families in need.
