Celebration of the Get-Together Program ( on 7th September 2024).

The Department of Social Work at Mahatma Gandhi Central University (MGCU) organized a vibrant Get-Together Program on 7th September 2024. This event was arranged by the MSW 3rd semester students to welcome the newly admitted MSW 1st semester students and bid farewell to the graduating batch of 2022-2024.
The celebration was filled with a variety of performances and fun activities. Students showcased their talents through a skit on social issues, a ramp walk, solo and group dance performances, solo songs, poetry recitations, and a musical chair game. Additionally, the event featured mimicry and a group song performance.
During the program, NAPSWI (National Association of Professional Social Workers in India) certificates were also distributed to MSW students by the esteemed Prof. Sunil Mahawar and other faculty members.
The event will be further updated with photos and video clips to capture the wonderful memories of the day.

Teacher's Day Celebration 5th September 2024
On 5th September 2024, The Master of Social Work Students (MSW 1st & 3rd Sem) celebrated Teacher's Day in the Gandhi Bhavan Campus, Bankat, Motihari. Students have shown affection and emotional regard towards the Head of the Department, Respected Prof. Sunil Mahawar Sir, and Faculty Members - Dr. Upmesh Kumar, Dr Anupam Kr Verma, and Dr Alpica Tripathi. Students have shared their Overall learning experiences and the caring culture of Faculty members. The Celebration was well organized and everyone participated.

On the Occasion of the 5th Social Work Week, the Department of Social Work, MGCUB, has organized a Poster Presentation Event on 20th August 2024, which was coordinated by Faculty Members of the Department Dr. Anupam K Verma, Dr Upmesh Kumar, and Dr Alpica under the Leadership of Prof. Sunil Mahawar, Head, Dept of Social Work. The Three Jury Members have assessed the poster presentations of the MSW students.
