অসম বিধান সভাৰ সাধাৰণ নিৰ্বাচন - ২০২৬ ত সকলো জনসাধাৰণৰ সক্ৰিয় অংশগ্ৰহণ নিশ্চিত কৰাৰ লক্ষ্যৰে এই পদক্ষেপ গ্ৰহণ কৰা হৈছে।

Interaction cm Awareness Meeting drive across Morigaon under Jal Jeevan Mission is being conducted this week at Bechamari Dooba, Dakhin Autolabori, Mahmari Pathar, Dakhin Mahmari, Bangaldhara, Darangi, Dakhin Baralimari, Mirikamari and Haibargaon PWSS in presence of Assistant Executive Engineer and JJM staff, the meeting with beneficiaries and WUC members focuses on community participation, regular tariff collection, proper O&M, and bulk flow meter monitoring to ensure sustainable and smooth functioning of the schemes.

💧 Jal Baithak at Uttar Dharamtul & Dakhin Dharamtul GPs 💧

A Jal Baithak was successfully organized under Jal Jeevan Mission, Morigaon at Uttar Dharamtul and Dakhin Dharamtul Gram Panchayats.

The meeting was graced by:
✅ Arnav Barua, Assistant Mission Director, Jal Jeevan Mission, Assam
✅ Arsalan Aarib, SPS-ISA, JJM
✅ Abhishek Roy Mazumder, SPS-FM
✅ GP Secretary, President, newly elected Ward Members
✅ Water Users’ Committee President & Secretary
✅ Other Panchayat and PHE officials

The discussions centered on the sustainability of the schemes, ensuring community ownership, active participation, and strengthening of the Water Users’ Committees (WUCs) for long-term functionality. Emphasis was given on proper operation & maintenance, tariff collection, and collective responsibility to ensure safe and adequate drinking water supply to every household in the years to come.

Together, we move closer towards a future of assured and sustainable drinking water for all. 🌍💦
