A workshop on Gender Sensitization for Teacher Trainees of College of Education, Morigaon in connection with 100 Days Campaigning and Enrollment by Sankalp: District Hub for Empowerment of Women, Morigaon under Women and Child Development, Morigaon in collaboration with IQAC College of Education Morigaon was held on 7th Aug, 2024 at the Conference Hall, College of Education. The workshop was organized to address various issues pertaining to s*x, gender and gender discrimination. The workshop also provided useful insights on Prohibition of Child Marriage, Women and Child centric laws, functioning of various organizations dealing with Child support etc. The workshop was facilitated by Namita Devi, LPU DCPU; Iftikar Ahmed Advocate DLSA, Hasina Akhter, DCPU, Dr. Doli Buragohain Principal College of Education, Manika Borthakur DSWO, CDPO's of Bhurbandha, Kapili, Mayong; Sowansiri Das CA OSC, DPA of Poshan Abhiyaan and functionaries of Sankalp: Hub Ankur Bora, Neha Deka, Mousumi Kalita.

*বিশ্ব ঋতুস্ৰাৱ পৰিচ্ছন্নতা দিৱস 2024* ৰ অংশ হিচাপে, জিলা পৰ্যায়ৰ মহিলা সবলীকৰণ কেন্দ্ৰ মৰিগাওঁৱে বেটী বচাও বেটী পঢ়াও আঁচনিৰ অধীনত বিদ্যালয়ত ঋতুস্ৰাৱৰ পৰিচ্ছন্নতা ব্যৱস্থাপনা সম্পৰ্কে এক সজাগতা সভাৰ আয়োজন কৰে।

উক্ত সভাত আলোকপাত কৰা বিষয় বোৰ আছিল,
* ঋতুস্ৰাৱৰ সময়ত পৰিচ্ছন্নতাৰ অভ্যাস
* চেনিটাৰী নেপকিনৰ ব্যৱহাৰ আৰু নিষ্কাশন
* অস্বাস্থ্যকৰ ঋতুস্ৰাৱৰ অভ্যাসৰ বাবে স্বাস্থ্যজনিত সমস্যা দেখা দিয়া
একেসময়তে, স্কুল এৰি যোৱাৰ সমস্যা আৰু আগতীয়া বাল্য বিবাহৰ সমস্যাৰ বিষয়বোৰো আলোচনা কৰা হৈছিল।

অনুষ্ঠানটোৰ পিছত ছাত্ৰীসকলক চেনিটাৰী নেপকিন বিতৰণ কৰা হৈছিল।

A District level meeting on Sexual Harrassment of women at workplace Act,2013 & the formation of Internal Committee was held in Deputy Commissioner Conference Hall on 21st June, 2023

Niranjan Borua( Senior Advocate & vice principal of Morigaon Law college)

The meeting was chaired by Deputy commissioner. In presence of ADC's, addl. SP, DSWO, DCPO, SDM& HO, DHEW officials, IGSSS, HOD's of other Department, other officers and staff of the district attended the meeting.
