Heartiest congratulations to all the Officers, Academic Staff, Administrative Staff, General Employees and my dear cadets, on this momentus occasion of Raising Day of Sainik School Punglwa, "Pride of Nagaland" on 12 May.

I also take this opportunity to express gratitude to Sainik School Society Ministry of Defense, Govt of Nagaland n all the former Officers n Staff for bringing this School in such an excellent condition with their guidance, cooperation n hard work.

Punglwians are doing extremely well in all professional fields such as armed forces, engineering n medicine to name a few. I am sure that each one of them is a winner for life time.

I wish all the best to all the cadets and I am sure that they will truly match with the motto of SSPN, We Learn, We Serve.

Held at Livingstone Foundation Higher Secondary School Dimapur on 24th Jan 2019.

SSPN CELEBRATES HINDI PAKHWADA
Sainik School Punglwa Nagaland celebrated Hindi Pakhwada with a whole lot of gusto and enthusiasm with effect from 1 Sep – 14 Sep 2018. The event was celebrated to promote Hindi language and encourage the cadets to use it to optimisation in their communication. As part of celebration, school assemblies were conducted in Hindi and various activities such as Hindi Quiz Competition, General Knowledge Competition, Essay Writing Competition and Debate Competition were conducted for the cadets as a part of Inter House Competition.
Tizu House emerged as the overall winner of the competition whereas Patkai House and Saramati House secured second and third positions respectively. Lt Col MK Meitei, the officiating Principal graced the final day of the pakhwada as chief guest. He presented medals and certificates to the winners. The chief guest while addressing the cadets conveyed his complimentary to all the participants and winners. He spoke on the importance of Hindi as a language and stated that it is necessary for an individual to learn this national language.

When seniors don't give you balls. You have to improvise. Photo taken just now, Class VI cadets with their ball hahaha. They have wrapped up old newspapers with black polythene and taped it up with cello tapes.
