We recently hosted a beautiful Crochet Workshop for 18 enthusiastic girls!

For most of them, it was their very first time holding a crochet hook. The session was filled with focus, curiosity, and joy as they learned the fundamentals from tying the first knot to mastering basic techniques.

While creating a full crochet pouch takes time, every participant built a wonderful foundation, and a few are already halfway there! To keep the creativity flowing, Sangeeta Ji, a sevak, is sharing practice videos in a dedicated WhatsApp group, and the girls even took home a fun little homework assignment to practice before our next session.

The day concluded peacefully with Divine Light Darshan before leaving the ShantiKshetra Premgiri Ashram . The girls are already buzzing with excitement for future workshops in painting, collage, and mandala art. We can’t wait for more inspiring learning experiences together! 💛

Glimpses from our recent Stree Arogya Samvaad, successfully conducted across 3 villages with around 98 women participating. Beyond providing essential medical guidance, prescribed medicines, and basic nutritional support, the most rewarding part was hearing the feedback.

Many women shared tangible improvements in their health since our previous camps! This growing trust is beautiful and encourages us to keep moving forward. ✨

We recently hosted a dedicated session for our local ASHA workers, the backbone of rural healthcare. It was a beautiful opportunity to create a supportive space for shared learning and open dialogue.

Together, we discussed real grassroots challenges in women’s health and explored vital topics like maternal care, nutrition, and mental well-being. Grateful for their tireless dedication and looking forward to many more collaborative sessions! 🙌

We recently hosted a beautiful Youth Engagement Workshop at the peaceful Shantikshetra Premgiri Ashram. 27 bright minds from nearby villages came together for a day of interaction, self-expression, and shared learning.

Seeing the enthusiasm, deep connections, and pure spirit of growth among the youth was truly inspiring. This is where transformation begins!

We recently conducted a series of impactful programs across Karjat villages, thoughtfully designed to uplift different members of our community:

🌱 Youth Engagement: 27 young minds gathered at Shantikshetra Premgiri Ashram for an inspiring session of connection, self-expression, and growth.

🤝 ASHA Workers Dialogue: A dedicated, supportive space for our frontline heroes to share learnings on women’s health, nutrition, and mental well-being.

🩺 Stree Arogya Samvaad: Reached ~98 women across 3 villages with accessible medical guidance and free medicines. Seeing so many women report health improvements from our previous camps brings us immense joy!

Together, we are nurturing awareness, health, and a stronger sense of community.

Celebrating the pillars of our community! 🌸✨

We hosted a beautiful Women’s Day gathering at ShantiKshetra Premgiri Ashram, Karjat to honor 29 incredible women—our dedicated ASHA workers, community SPOCs, and staff from the Ashram, Gaushala, and Gurukul.

A glimpse into our joyful day:
• A serene start with Chandan Tika, Kokum Sherbet, and collective chanting of the Dadashreeji Mantra.
• Inspiring words from our special guest, renowned actor Smt. Trupti Khamkar ji. 🌟
• Endless laughter through fun games, followed by a vibrant and energetic Garba! 💃
• Heartfelt sharing, snacks, and tokens of appreciation to express our gratitude.

These women play a vital role in our community’s well-being. This celebration was a small gesture of our immense gratitude for their strength, dedication, and unity. 🙌

Sanskritic Revival

As part of the Sanskritic Revival initiative, a series of village visits were conducted to revive cultural awareness, foster collective unity, and bridge traditional wisdom with modern understanding.

Ransai Wadi Visit (Khalapur Taluka)
50 Participants

Visited Ransai Wadi and spent time with the Adivasi community, creating a platform for them to express and reconnect with their sanskriti.
We spoke on Sangha Shakti - the power of collective unity, and the importance of connecting with the Divine within, bridging their ancestral wisdom with present-day spiritual awareness.
The interaction inspired the community to take pride in their roots and opened doors for future spiritual and cultural engagements.

Wasrang Wadi Visit (Khopoli Taluka)
40 Participants

During the visit to Wasrang Wadi, the team interacted with the Adivasi community, listening to their aspirations and cultural expressions.
The residents shared their long-standing wish to build a temple for their local Goddess, awaiting support for several years.
The team assured guidance and assistance, reaffirming MaitriBodh Parivaar’s commitment to preserving and nurturing indigenous spiritual traditions - a living example of sanskriti in action.

Yemala Wadi, Bhalyachi Wadi & Khair Wadi Visits (Khalapur Taluka)
100 Participants

Visited these three villages and engaged in meaningful dialogue with the communities to understand their daily challenges and aspirations.
Residents highlighted issues such as lack of electricity despite infrastructure and inadequate access to basic education.
Through compassionate listening and assurance of support, the visit helped strengthen community confidence and collective spirit, weaving traditional values of care and unity with efforts toward holistic development.

🌿 Stree Aarogya Samvaad at Rajpe 🌿

On Saturday, 22nd November, we took another step towards a healthier rural India. The team visited Rajpe & Rajpe Wadi, where 43 women came together to prioritize their well-being.
Unlike standard camps, this session focused on practical solutions. 💊

✅ Personalized Guidance: Medical advice tailored to individual health needs.

✅ Medicine Distribution: Essential medicines were provided directly to the participants.

By improving access to basic healthcare and enhancing awareness, we are ensuring that the women of our villages are not just cared for, but empowered. When the women of the village are healthy, the entire community thrives. 🏡❤️

Following our session in Rajpe, we conducted a follow-up Stree Arogya Samvaad in Hirewadi. 30 women from the community participated, and it was wonderful to see both new and familiar faces—10 new patients joined us, and 20 returned for their follow-up.

The session was exceptionally well-received. We heard so much positive feedback, with many women expressing that they are already feeling significant relief and improvement in their health.

This is the impact of Maitri Adarsh Gram: building trust and creating lasting change through sustained health initiatives.
