🔥 *THE REAL ALLIANCE FACTS* 🔥
Yes, INC won 5 seats because of DMK alliance support. Nobody is denying that. 🤝
But at the same time, DMK also won several seats because of INC votes. 📊
👉 If INC has at least a *minimum 3% vote share* in Tamil Nadu, then DMK won nearly *21 seats* with margins below 3%.
Without INC support, DMK’s seat count could have dropped from *59 ➝ 38*.
📌 Seats won with less than 3% margin:
Veppanahalli, Tiruvannamalai, Vanur, Ulundurpet, Rishivandiyam, Coimbatore South, Pollachi, Udumalpet, Dindigul, Kulithalai, Thuraiyur, Tittakudi, Chidambaram, Peravurani, Pudukkottai, Thirumayam, Cumbum, Aruppukottai, Paramakudi, Kovilpatti & Kadayanallur.
⚡ DMK should also remember:
TVK reportedly offered Congress around *60–80 seats* to join the alliance.
If we had accepted that offer, Congress could have won at least *30 seats* because of the strong TVK wave 🌊 and rebuilt its strength from there.
But we chose *not to break the alliance*. 🤝
🛡️ The political situation later became different.
Since DMK did not have enough numbers to form the government on its own, and to stop BJP-RSS influence from growing in Tamil Nadu, we chose to support a secular force like TVK.
❗ Otherwise, there was a serious possibility of “Operation Lotus” politics in Tamil Nadu too.
They could have tried to split the DMK-TVK alliance and help the AIADMK-BJP alliance form the government. We do not support the BJP model of weakening or splitting regional parties for political gain.
💪 Together, we can send a strong message to India:
*Tamil Nadu stands for secularism, socialism, democracy, and unity.*
