🔍 handed over 500 recovered mobile phones worth ₹1 crore to victims through the CEIR (Central Equipment Identity Register) portal

Under the supervision of , as part of the 14th phase of the “Mobile Recovery Mela” program, around 500 mobile phones worth nearly 💰 ₹1 crore were recovered through the CEIR portal and returned to the victims.

📲 People who lost their mobile phones can easily access CEIR services by sending “Hi” to the WhatsApp number 9490617873 to receive the CEIR link.

🚨 Police stated that registering a complaint immediately on the CEIR portal after losing a mobile phone increases the chances of recovery.
🔐 To stay safe from cyber frauds and digital crimes, citizens are advised to use strong passwords and avoid sharing personal information with strangers.

📝 Procedure to register a complaint through CEIR:

1️⃣ Complaints regarding lost or stolen mobile phones can be registered online through the Government of India’s CEIR portal 🌐 https://www.ceir.gov.in

2️⃣ By blocking the IMEI number, the mobile phone can be prevented from being used anywhere in the country, making tracking easier. 📡

3️⃣ Once the mobile phone is recovered, it can be unblocked through the same portal. 🔓

👮 Public Advisory:

✅ Block your SIM card immediately after losing your phone.
✅ Use strong passwords for mobile phones and apps like PhonePe, Google Pay, and Paytm.
✅ Register a complaint immediately on the CEIR portal.
✅ Do not purchase mobile phones from unknown persons.

🚨 Inauguration of New Coastal Security Police Building in Visakhapatnam

In a significant step towards strengthening maritime security and coastal surveillance, the new Coastal Security Police building in was inaugurated by Sri Harish Kumar Gupta, IPS.

The facility will serve as a key centre for coastal monitoring, intelligence gathering, and rapid response operations along the state coastline.

During the visit, the reviewed the functioning of the Police, including beach patrolling, community outreach programmes, village vigilance committees, intelligence gathering, training programmes, and awareness initiatives.

He appreciated the efforts of the Coastal Security Police and assured all necessary support to further strengthen coastal security in .

The programme was attended by Sri Gopinath Jatti, IPS, IGP, Coastal Security Police, along with other police officials.

🚨 Seized G***a Worth ₹97 Lakhs

Police conducted vehicle inspections at Gonnavanipalem Junction on the Bangarametta–Anakapalli road in Buchayyapeta Mandal of Anakapalli district. During the checking, a scooter and a Maruti Ciaz car speeding towards Anakapalli were intercepted, and three accused persons were taken into custody.

🌿 Police seized 194 kg of g***a worth ₹97 lakhs, 🚗 one Maruti Ciaz car, 🛵 one scooter, and 📱 03 mobile phones from their possession. Subsequently, all three accused were arrested.

📢 Police appealed to the public to immediately inform 📞 112 or ☎️ 1972 toll-free numbers if anyone is found consuming or selling g***a in their area. They assured that the identity of informants would be kept completely confidential.

📰 Massive Red Sanders Bust in Seshachalam: 76 Logs Worth ₹1.95 Crore Seized

In the early hours today, the Force, along with Forest Department officials, conducted combing operations in the Seshachalam Reserve Forest area of Tirupati. During the operation, one person was apprehended and 76 red sanders logs, along with two cars and one goods vehicle, were seized. The value of the seized material is estimated at ₹1.95 crore. Three other accused persons managed to escape.

EAGLE Aims at Complete Eradication of Drug Network in Andhra Pradesh: Shri Harish Kumar Gupta IPS

The primary objective of ‘EAGLE’ is to completely eradicate the drug network that is harming the future of youth in the state, said Shri Harish Kumar Gupta, IPS. He inaugurated the EAGLE headquarters at PLR Plaza in Mangalagiri on Saturday.

He stated that EAGLE is playing a key role in controlling drugs in the state. He mentioned that g***a cultivation has been completely brought under control and that cultivation spread across more than 11,000 acres has been eradicated. He also said that the state is ahead in the implementation of the NDPS Act 1985.

So far, 112 smugglers have been arrested under the PIT-NDPS Act, he said, adding that strict action is being taken against repeat offenders.

EAGLE Chief A. K. Ravikrishna stated that EAGLE activities have been expanded across the state. He said that EAGLE cells have been established in all 28 districts.

Under ‘Operation Chaitanya’, efforts are being made to eliminate g***a cultivation, with continuous monitoring through drones and satellites. Coordination is also being maintained with agencies of other states, he added.

To curb drug trafficking, special surveillance has been set up on trains, and joint operations are being carried out with concerned security agencies.

He further said that the ‘Safe Campus Zone’ program has been launched to keep students away from drugs, which will benefit lakhs of students across the state.

Additionally, hotspots have been identified through ‘Vajra Prahar’, and strict action is being taken against drug sales under ‘Operation Garuda’.

On this occasion, Smt. R. Jayalakshmi, IPS, Director, ACB, Smt. B. Rajakumari, IPS, APSP Bns & Women Safety, along with other senior officials and staff, participated in the program.

📱 Returned 529 Recovered Mobile Phones Worth ₹1.10 Crore to Victims
The Kurnool Cyber Lab and Police successfully recovered 529 mobile phones and returned them to the victims. The District SP, Sri. Vikrant Patil IPS, distributed the recovered devices at the “Mobile Recovery Mela” held at Vyas Auditorium in the District Police Office.
📊 So far, in four phases, a total of 2,402 mobile phones worth ₹4.08 crore have been recovered and handed over to their rightful owners.

Under Operation Mobi Track, the Kadapa District Team successfully carried out a large-scale mobile phone recovery operation using advanced technology, network surveillance, and data analytics.

📊 Based on complaints received through the CEIR portal, a total of 505 mobile phones were recovered, with an estimated value of ₹70,00,000/-.

📈 So far, in 8 phases, a total of 5,877 mobile phones have been recovered, with a cumulative value of ₹11,76,00,000/-.

🚨 ‘Digital Arrest’ Scam in the Name of CBI – Interstate Cyber Criminal Arrested🚨

A 73-year-old woman from Madanapalle town in Annamayya district was targeted by cyber fraudsters in a major scam. The accused made a video call to the victim, posing as officials from the CBI and ED, and falsely claimed that she was involved in drug-related cases. They threatened her with a so-called “digital arrest” and convinced her to transfer money to avoid legal action, ultimately cheating her of ₹92,70,000.

Following a complaint lodged at Madanapalle I Town Police Station, police initiated a technical investigation and successfully arrested Lingabalija Virupaksha (24), a native of Karnataka.

🌍 The gang is linked to international cybercrime networks operating from abroad and uses fake cases to threaten victims.

*APSDRF Shines at National CSSR Competition*

The Andhra Pradesh State Disaster Response Force (APSDRF) has achieved a commendable feat at the National CSSR (Collapsed Structure Search & Rescue) Competition held in Ghaziabad. Competing against teams from eight states, APSDRF secured 3rd place and was awarded a trophy 🏆 along with a cash prize of ₹50,000 by Hon’ble Minister of State for Home Affairs, Shri Nityanand Rai, and Director General, NDRF, Shri Piyush Anand, IPS. This is indeed a proud moment for Andhra Pradesh.

Earlier, APSDRF had also secured the Runner-up position in the Regional CSSR Competition (February 23–27), competing with teams from southern states.

In recognition of APSDRF’s outstanding service during the 2024 Budameru floods , the Government sanctioned ₹2 crore for modernization. The force is now equipped with advanced tools such as drones, boats, and scuba gear, along with well-trained personnel, enabling it to effectively respond to disasters and safeguard lives and property.

Shri Harish Kumar Gupta, IPS, Director General of Police, Andhra Pradesh, congratulated the APSDRF team and awarded a cash incentive of ₹75,000 at Mangalagiri. He attributed their success to discipline, dedication, and rigorous training.
