📌 Action on Illegal Cultivation of O***m Plants

Today, on 07.05.2026, 3,551 plants of o***m were found and destroyed in Village Dhar under the jurisdiction of PS Aut. Investigation is underway.

Mandi Police remains committed towards a drug-free society. Strict legal action shall continue against all persons involved in the illegal cultivation, possession and trafficking of narcotic substances.

Illegal activities under the ND&PS Act, in any form, will not be tolerated. Public cooperation is essential in our collective fight against drugs and to ensure a safer, healthier and stronger Mandi.

🚨Action Against Illegal Mining Activities in District Mandi🚨

District Mandi Police continues its strict drive against illegal mining activities across the district.

🔹 378 challans issued under the Mining Act till 30th April 2026
🔹 Fine amounting to ₹45,400/- imposed
🔹 192 challans issued in April alone
🔹 4 cases registered against violators
🔹 100+ vehicles including tractors, Hyva trucks and tippers/dumpers impounded

Illegal mining not only damages the environment but also poses a serious threat to public safety and natural resources. Mandi Police remains committed to taking strict and continuous action against all violators.

🚨सड़क सुरक्षा सलाह – मण्डी पुलिस🚨
दिनांक: 04.05.2026

जिला मण्डी के थाना बल्ह क्षेत्र में दिनांक 04.05.2026 को एक दुःखद सड़क दुर्घटना घटित हुई, जिसमें एक कार, जिसमें 5 व्यक्ति सवार थे, एक क्रेन से टकरा गई। सभी घायलों को उपचार हेतु मेडिकल कॉलेज नेरचौक ले जाया गया, जहाँ 3 व्यक्तियों की उपचार के दौरान मृत्यु हो गई। शेष 2 घायलों को उपचार के लिए एम्स बिलासपुर रेफर किया गया है।

मण्डी पुलिस आमजन एवं पर्यटकों से अपील करती है कि वाहन चलाते समय विशेष सावधानी बरतें, अधिक गति से वाहन न चलाएं, सतर्क रहें तथा यातायात नियमों का पालन करें।

दिनांक 04.05.2026 को पण्डोह डैम से डाउनस्ट्रीम क्षेत्र की ओर 400 क्यूसेक पानी छोड़ा जा रहा है, जिससे ब्यास नदी का जलस्तर अचानक बढ़ सकता है।

🚨Action by Mandi Police PO Cell Team 🚨

On 29.04.2026, the PO Cell Team of Mandi Police successfully arrested proclaimed offender Chetan, resident of Bhiuli, Mandi, from Bhiuli area of District Mandi. 👮‍♂️

The accused had been declared a Proclaimed Offender by the Ld. JMFC Court No. 2, Mandi on 11.03.2025 in connection with FIR No. 155/2015 dated 16.07.2015 under Sections 457 & 380 IPC registered at Police Station Sadar, Mandi.

👏 Mandi Police remains committed to tracing absconders and ensuring that offenders are brought to justice.

🚨 Mandi Police continues its firm action against absconders.

👮‍♂️ On 22.04.2026, the PO Cell team of Mandi Police successfully arrested a proclaimed offender, Hem Raj resident of Sundernagar, District Mandi (H.P.), from Chowk (Dhanotu).

⚖️ The accused had been declared a Proclaimed Offender by the Ld. ACJM Court No. 1, Sundernagar in multiple cases under Section 138 of the NI Act, including Complaint No. 244/10 and Complaint No. 134/21.

✅ Mandi Police remains committed to ensuring that offenders are brought to justice and law is upheld.

In a sustained crackdown against drug trafficking, Mandi Police has registered 06 cases in the last 03 days, leading to significant recoveries:

• FIR No. 89/26 (PS Sundernagar) – 542 gm Charas

• FIR No. 41/26 (PS Aut) – 947 gm Charas
• FIR No. 78/26 (PS Balh) – 832 gm Charas
• FIR No. 79/26 (PS Balh) – 5.22 gm He**in

🚔 District Level Crime & Welfare Review 🚔

Yesterday, the District Level Monthly Crime Meeting was held under the chairmanship of SP Mandi, Sh. Vinod Kumar, IPS, followed by the JCC-cum-Welfare Meeting.

The overall crime trend in the district was thoroughly reviewed and necessary directions were issued to all field functionaries to further strengthen policing and ensure effective law enforcement.

Welfare issues of police personnel were also heard with sensitivity and addressed accordingly by the chair.

On this occasion, officials of District Police who demonstrated exceptional performance in ND&PS detection work, as well as those involved in successfully solving the blind murder case of Rewalsar, were felicitated by SP Mandi.
