Mandi, May 30, 2026: The Electoral Literacy Club of Arunoday Senior Secondary School, Mandi, organized an awareness programme on the voting process today with the objective of promoting electoral awareness among students.
Students of classes IX to XII actively participated in the programme. During the session, students were informed about the importance of voting in a democratic system, voter registration procedures, electoral rights and responsibilities, and the voting process followed during elections. The programme also highlighted the significance of informed and ethical voting for strengthening democracy.
Interactive discussions and awareness activities were conducted to encourage students to become responsible citizens and future voters. The participants showed keen interest and actively engaged in the activities.
The school administration appreciated the efforts of the Electoral Literacy Club in spreading awareness about democratic values and the electoral process among young learners.
