A man was asked to paint a boat. He brought his paint and brushes and began to paint the boat a bright red, as the owner asked him.

While painting, he noticed a small hole in the hull, and quietly repaired it.

When he finished painting, he received his money and left.

The next day, the owner of the boat came to the painter and presented him with a nice check, much higher than the payment for painting.

The painter was surprised and said “You've already paid me for painting the boat Sir!”

“But this is not for the paint job. It's for repairing the hole in the boat.”

“Ah! But it was such a small service... certainly it's not worth paying me such a high amount for something so insignificant.”

“My dear friend, you do not understand. Let me tell you what happened:

“When I asked you to paint the boat, I forgot to mention the hole.

“When the boat dried, my kids took the boat and went on a fishing trip.

“They did not know that there was a hole. I was not at home at that time.

“When I returned and noticed they had taken the boat, I was desperate because I remembered that the boat had a hole.

“Imagine my relief and joy when I saw them returning from fishing.

“Then, I examined the boat and found that you had repaired the hole!

“You see, now, what you did? You saved the life of my children! I do not have enough money to pay your 'small' good deed.”

So no matter who, when or how, continue to help, sustain, wipe tears, listen attentively, and carefully repair all the 'leaks' you find. You never know when one is in need of us, or when God holds a pleasant surprise for us to be helpful and important to someone.

Along the way, you may have repaired numerous 'boat holes' for several people without realizing how many lives you've save. ❤️

You will go naked.
You arrived weak,
You will leave weak.
You came without money and things,
You will leave even without money and things.
Your first bath? Someone washed you,
Your last bath? Someone will wash you.
This is life!!!
So why so much malice, so much envy, so much hate, so much resentment, so much selfishness and so much pride? why, when we have to go empty handed?

A Newborn's Conversation with God

A baby asked God, "They tell me you are sending me to earth tomorrow, but how am I going to live there being so small and helpless?"

God said, "Your angel will be waiting for you and will take care of you."

The child further inquired, "But tell me, here in heaven I don't have to do anything but sing and smile to be happy.."

God said, "Your angel will sing for you and will also smile for you. And you will feel your angel's love and be very happy."

Again the small child asked, "And how am I going to be able to understand when people talk to me if I don't know the language?"

God said, "Your angel will tell you the most beautiful and sweet words you will ever hear, and with much patience and care, your angel will teach you how to speak."

"And what am I going to do when I want to talk to you?"

God said, "Your angel will place your hands together and will teach you how to pray."

"Who will protect me?"

God said, "Your angel will defend you even if it means risking its life."

"But I will always be sad because I will not see you anymore."

God said, "Your angel will always talk to you about Me and will teach you the way to come back to Me, even though I will always be next to you."

At that moment there was much peace in Heaven, but voices from Earth could be heard and the child hurriedly asked, "God, if I am to leave now, please tell me my angel's name."

God said, "You will simply call her, "Mom.”

Ex.President of India Dr. Abdul Kalam Says:

"When I was a kid, my Mom cooked food for us. One night she had made dinner after a long hard day's work, Mom placed a plate of 'subzi' and extremely burnt roti in front of my Dad.

I was waiting to see if anyone noticed the burnt roti. But Dad just ate his roti and asked me how was my day at school. I don't remember what I told him that night, but I do remember I heard Mom apologizing to Dad for the burnt roti.

And I'll never forget what he said: "Honey, I love burnt roti."

Later that night, I went to kiss Daddy, good night & I asked him if he really liked his roti burnt. He wrapped me in his arms & said: "Your momma put in a long hard day at work today and she was really tired. And besides, a burnt roti never hurts anyone but HARSH WORDS DO!"

"You know son, life is full of imperfect things and imperfect people".

I'M NOT THE BEST AND I HAVE LEARNT TO ACCEPT THAT LIFE IS NOT PERFECT AND NOR ARE PEOPLE NEAR & DEAR TO YOU.

What I've learnt over the years is: "To Accept Each Others Faults & Choose To Celebrate Relationships".

சிற்பம் கூறும் தத்துவம்.

ஒரு பாம்பு வளைந்து நெளிந்து தரையில் ஊர்ந்து கொண்டிருந்தது.

அதைப் பார்த்த ஒரு குட்டிக் குரங்குக்கு வேடிக்கையாக இருந்தது.
மெதுவாகப் போய் அந்தப் பாம்பைக் கையில் பிடித்து விட்டது.

பாம்பும் குரங்கின் கையை இறுக்கமாகச் சுற்றிக் கொண்டது. விஷப் பல்லைக் காட்டி சீறியது .

குரங்குக்குக் கொஞ்சம் பயம் வந்து விட்டது.

கொஞ்ச நேரத்திலேயே அதன் கூட்டமெல்லாம் கூடி வந்து விட்டன.

ஆனாலும் யாருமே குட்டிக் குரங்குக்கு உதவ முன்
வரவில்லை.

"ஐயய்யோ. இது பயங்கரமான விஷமுள்ள பாம்பு .இது கொத்துனா உடனே மரணந்தான்.

குரங்கு பிடியை விட்டதுமே பாம்பு இவனப் போட்டுடும். இவன் தப்பிக்கவே முடியாது

" என்று குட்டிக் குரங்கின் காது படவே பேசிவிட்டு ஒவ்வொன்றாகக் கலைந்து சென்று விட்டன .

தன்னுடைய கூட்டமே தன்னைக் கைவிட்டு விட்ட சூழ்நிலையின் வேதனை ,

எந்த நேரமும் கொத்திக் குதறத் தயாராக இருக்கும் நச்சுப் பாம்பு ,

மரண பயம் எல்லாம் சேர்ந்து குரங்கை வாட்டி வதைத்தன.

"ஐயோ. புத்தி கெட்டுப் போய் நானே வலிய வந்து இந்த மரண வலைக்குள் மாட்டிக் கிட்டேனே".

குரங்கு பெரிதாய்க் குரலெழுப்பி ஓலமிட்டது.
நேரம் ஓடிக் கொண்டே இருந்தது . உணவும் , நீரும் இல்லாமல் உடல் சோர்ந்து போய் விட்டது.

கிட்டத்தட்ட மயங்கி சரியும் நிலைக்கு வந்து விட்டது. கண் இருளத் தொடங்கியது.

அந்த நேரத்தில் ஞானி ஒருவர் அந்த வழியே வந்தார்.

குரங்கு இருந்த நிலைமையைப் பார்த்ததும் நடந்ததை உணர்ந்து கொண்டார். குரங்கை நெருங்கி வந்தார்.

சொந்தங்களெல்லாம் கைவிட்டு விட்ட நிலையில் , தன்னை நோக்கி மனிதர் ஒருவர் வருவதைக் கண்ட குட்டிக் குரங்கிற்கு கொஞ்சம் நம்பிக்கை வந்தது.

அவர் நெருங்கி வந்து சொன்னார் ," எவ்வளவு நேரந்தான் பாம்பைக் கையிலேயே பிடிச்சிக்கிட்டு கஷ்டப்படப் போற? அதைக் கீழே போடு" என்றார்.

குரங்கோ ,"ஐயய்யோ , பாம்பை நான் விட்டுட்டா அது என்னக் கொன்னுடும் " என்றது.

அவர் மீண்டும் சொன்னார் ," பாம்பு செத்து ரொம்ப நேரமாச்சு. அதைக் கீழே வீசு ".அவர் வார்த்தயைக் கேட்ட குரங்கு பயத்துடனே பிடியைத் தளர்த்திப் பாம்பைக் கீழே போட்டது.

அட . நிஜமாகவே பாம்பு ஏற்கனவே குரங்குப் பிடியில் செத்துதான் போயிருந்தது. அப்பாடா .

குரங்குக்கு உயிர் வந்தது . அவரை நன்றியுடன் பார்த்தது ."இனிமே இந்த முட்டாள் தனம் பண்ணாதே " என்றபடி ஞானி கடந்து போனார்.

நம்மில் எத்தனையோ பேர் மனக்கவலை என்ற செத்த பாம்பைக் கையில் பிடித்துக் கொண்டு விட முடியாமல் கதறிக் கொண்டிருக்கிறோம்.

கவலைகளை விட்டொழியுங்கள்.

மகிழ்ச்சியாய் இருங்கள், , ,

ஒவ்வொரு கெட்ட குணங்களும் ஒவ்வொரு நோயை உருவாக்கும்

பெருமையும் கர்வமும் இதய நோய்களை உருவாக்கும்

கவலையும் துயரமும் வயிற்று நோய்களை உருவாக்கும்

துக்கமும் அழுகையும் சுவாச நோய்களை உருவாக்கும்

பயமும் சந்தேகமும் சிறுநீரக நோய்களை உருவாக்கும்.

எரிச்சலும் கோபமும் கல்லீரல் நோய்களை உருவாக்கும்.

அமைதியை விரும்புவதே அனைத்தையும் குணமாக்கும்.

ஆரோக்கியமான உடலிலிருந்தே ஆரோக்கியமான சிந்தனைகள் பிறக்கும். உடலின், மனதின் தேவைகளுக்கு மதிப்பளியுங்கள்.

பசிக்கும் போது உணவருந்துங்கள்.

பசியை நீங்கள் புறக்கணித்தால் பசி உங்களைப் புறக்கணிக்கும்.

எப்போதும் உடலின் அழைப்பை புறக்கணிக்காதீர்கள்.

படித்ததில் பிடித்தது.

A man and his wife traveled to the zoo. They found a monkey that played passionately with his female. His wife told him: "what a romance."

Then they found a lion and his lioness separated from each other; the lion was silent and alone in his corner as if the lioness did not exist. His wife told him: "what a sad scene without love."

Her husband then told her: "throw that stone at the lioness and watch." When she threw it down, the lion leaped roaring to defend his lioness. They saw the monkeys again and she did the same by throwing a stone; the monkey then jumped and abandoned his female to save his hide.

Her husband tells her later: "do not be fooled by what you see as romanticism in some, many times it is a deceptive appearance that hides an empty heart; there are others on the contrary who do not show anything, but their hearts are full of sincere love ". Unfortunately today we have so many monkeys and so few lions."
