Grace Peter Charitable Trust is a voluntary organization established by a team of committed individuals having the same vision of serving the society. Now the trust is 13 years old in its path of development intervention for the poor and needy from rural and urban areas. Mission:
• To bring about changes in the lives of poor people of rura
l India.
• To help under privileged children, women, and widows, irrespective of caste, colour, language, and religion.
• To help physically handicapped, HIV / AIDS infected people.
• Environment and Climate Change Awareness & Action programs
Target groups
Our Trust is concentrating the wholesome development of the people in the working community without race, creed and religion, however, it mainly focusing the
• School going children of all ages
• Rural poor and urban marginalized women.
• Adolescent & Younger Community
• Marginalized community members. It also covered the needy individual at a time. PHILOSOPHY
We are committed to respecting and recognizing the indigenous knowledge as well as supporting local initiatives of rural poor striving to improve their living standards with a special emphasis on women and children. OBJECTIVES:
Grace Peter Charitable Trust has following as the focal objectives:
The aims and objects of the Trust and all the projects carried out in pursuance thereof are entirely based on social service to the public and not on any profit motive. To financially assist the children by sponsorship Programmes. To assist the programmes towards women enlistment schemes. To provide assistance towards schemes connected with self-employment training schemes, social education programmes etc. To undertake social service activities and to provide facilities for the relief of the poor, irrespective of caste, creed and social status. To raise funds for implementing aims and objects of the trust. Benefits of the Trust are open to all irrespective of caste, religion, s*x. Target Area:
Our Grace Peter Trust is working all over the areas in Madurai District especially we have extending our service territory with 56 Villages of Madurai West & East Block, Madurai district, Tamil Nadu. In all the above villages we have mainly initiated the project related to imparting education to child labor, out of school and drop-out children, Developing livelihood skills for youth, Supporting the school going children with educational materials, Empowering women for improving their social and economic status, Promotion of community health and sanitation programs etc.,
