Dr Shweta Singh has had her schooling from Cathedral
School, Lucknow and has done BSc and MBA
in Tourism from Lucknow University, she
has PhD in Ecotourism in 2002. She also used to teach as
guest faculty in Lucknow University and IGNOU

Dr Shweta Singh has had a very humble life, her father has retired from
King George Medical College and her mother is a housewife, also a corpora

tor
in Lucknow Municipal Corporation from Samajwadi Party. She has had a very close experience of the problems faced by women
in their marital life and societal ups and downs. She however, did not let
these atrocities extinguish her spark and fought back alongside, has raised
both her daughters single handedly.
