The U.P. Academy of Administration & Management https://upati.gov.in/ endeavors to train civil servants both at induction and in-service stages.

https://upati.gov.in/ Logo of Academy is taken from GITA and it says that Academy is training the officers to help those who are suffering from any kind of bias. Conduct of Institutional Training for the IAS probationers allotted to UP Cadre, Professional Course for PCS (Executive) and Foundation Course for PCS (Executive), and Combined State Civil Services are among the Academy’s Flagship Programmes.

The 23rd IAS Debriefing Training Programme held from13 April to 24 April, 2026 concluded with Valedictory Function on 24 April, 2026. The Chief Guest for Valedictory Function Sri M. Devaraj, IAS Director General addressed the Officer Trainees. There were 19 Officer Trainees. UPAAM wishes the officer trainees the best of luck in their future endeavors.

23rd IAS Debriefing Training Programme commenced on 13.04.2026. The Chief Guest for Inaugural Programme Ms. Annapurna Garg, I.A.S., Special Secretary, Appointment and Personnel Department. delivered the inaugural address to the trainees and Sri Sunil Kumar Chaudhary, I.A.S., Additional Director, UPAAM also addressed the Officer Trainees. The course team comprises of Sri Sunil Kumar Chaudhary, I.A.S., Additional Director, UPAAM (Course Director) and Course Coordinator, Smt. Sandhya Bhadauria, Research Executive There are 19 Officer Trainees. In the end Sri Sunil Kumar Chaudhary, I.A.S., Additional Director Concluded the programme by thanking everyone. UPAAM wishes all the very best to the officer Trainees.

The 86th Foundation Training Programme held from 02 February to 13 March, 2026 concluded with Valedictory Function on 13 March, 2026. The Chief Guest for Valedictory Function Sri. L. Venkateshwar Lu (IAS), Director General, UPAAM addressed the Officer Trainees.There were 30 Officer Trainees. UPAAM wishes the officer trainees the best of luck in their future endeavors.

PCS (Other Services 5400 Grade Pay) 86th Foundation Training Programme commenced on 02.02.2026. The Chief Guest for Inaugural Programme Shri L. Venkateshwar Lu, I.A.S., Director General, UPAAM delivered the inaugural address to the trainees and Smt. Neena Sharma, I.A.S., Director, UPAAM also addressed the Officer Trainees. The course team comprises of Ms. Shweta, Assistant Director (Course Director) and Course Coordinator, Sri Vaibhav Raman Singh Chauhan. There are 28 Officer Trainees. In the end Ms. Shweta concluded the programme by thanking everyone. UPAAM wishes all the very best to the Officer Trainees.
