आधार संवाद, कोलकाता में माननीय राज्य मंत्री, वाणिज्य एवं उद्योग तथा इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स एवं सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी मंत्रालय, श्री जितिन प्रसाद द्वारा e-PDS में फेस ऑथेंटिकेशन की राष्ट्रीय शुरुआत की गई।
यह पहल राशन सेवाओं को अधिक सुरक्षित, आसान और सुलभ बनाने की दिशा में एक महत्वपूर्ण कदम है। इससे लाभार्थियों को राशन सेवाओं का लाभ लेने में अधिक सुविधा मिलेगी और नागरिक-केंद्रित सेवा वितरण को और मजबूत किया जा सकेगा।
