ਨਗਰ ਕੌਂਸਲ ਲਹਿਰਾਗਾਗਾ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਜੀ.ਪੀ.ਐਫ ਧਰਮਸ਼ਾਲਾ ਵਿਖੇ ਸੁਵਿਧਾ ਕੈਂਪ ਲਗਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਜਿਸ ਵਿਚ ਨਗਰ ਕੌਂਸਲ ਲਹਿਰਾਗਾਗਾ ਦੇ ਸਵੱਛ ਭਾਰਤ ਟੀਮ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਗਿੱਲੇ ਕੂੜੇ ਤੋਂ ਤਿਆਰ ਕੀਤੀ ਕੰਪੋਸਟ ਖਾਦ ਦੀ ਸਟਾਲ ਲਗਾਈ ਗਈ ਅਤੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਗਿੱਲੇ ਸੁੱਕੇ ਕੂੜੇ ਬਾਰੇ ਜਾਗਰੂਕ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ.

ਨਗਰ ਕੌਂਸਲ ਲਹਿਰਾਗਾਗਾ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਰੋਜ਼ਾਨਾ ਡੋਰ ਟੂ ਡੋਰ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਕੂੜੇ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਸੈਗਰੀਗੇਸ਼ਨ ਕਰਨ ਉਪਰੰਤ ਜੋ ਪਲਾਸਟਿਕ ਦੀਆਂ ਬੋਤਲਾਂ ਇਕੱਠੀਆਂ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਜਾਂਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਪਲਾਸਟਿਕ ਬੋਤਲਾਂ ਦਾ ਦੁਬਾਰਾ ਤੋਂ ਪ੍ਰਯੋਗ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਅੱਜ ਨਗਰ ਕੌਂਸਲ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਪਲਾਸਟਿਕ ਦੀਆਂ ਬੋਤਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੌਦੇ ਲਗਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਪੋਰਟ ਬਣਾਏ ਗਏ। ਨਗਰ ਕੌਂਸਲ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਹੋ ਸਲਾਹ ਦਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਪਲਾਸਟਿਕ ਦੀਆਂ ਬੋਤਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਾਹਰ ਨਾ ਸੁੱਟਿਆ ਜਾਵੇ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਦੁਬਾਰਾ ਤੋਂ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ।

" ਸਿੰਗਲ ਯੂ਼ਜ਼ ਪਲਾਸਟਿਕ ਤੋਂ ਆਜ਼ਾਦੀ" ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਿੰਗਲ ਯੂਜ ਪਲਾਸਟਿਕ ਤੋਂ ਹੋਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਨੁਕਸਾਨ ਬਾਰੇ ਜਾਗਰੂਕ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ।ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਗਿੱਲੇ ਕੂੜੇ, ਸੁੱਕੇ ਕੂੜੇ, ਈ ਵੇਸਟ ਤੇ ਡੋਮੈਸਟਿਕ ਹਾਜਰਡ ਬਾਰੇ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ ਅਤੇ ਕੱਪੜੇ ਦੇ ਬੈਗ ਵੰਡੇ ਗਏ।
