On behalf of the people from Darjeeling hills, Terai and Dooars, I offer my humble tributes to the brave Freedom Fighters on the occassion of the 91st Anniversary of the historic Dandi March.

Through this non-violent protest, our Freedom Fighters led by Mahatma Gandhi ji had shaken the very foundation of British imprelialism and exposed their lack of moral authority to govern over India.

It is this spirit of non-violence and rebellion against tyranny and injustice, which has propelled and encouraged us Indians to speak out against all forms of injustices to this date.
