​The footbridge connecting the Kralpora Sumo Stand to the Main Bazar remains in complete shambles. For half a decade, this vital link has been nothing more than a crumbling hazard, forcing residents to gamble with their safety every single day.
​The Reality on the Ground:
​5 Years of Neglect: This isn't a new issue. We’ve been talking about this since 2020, yet not a single brick has been laid.

​All Talk, No Action: The bridge makes the headlines constantly, but while the media watches, the administration is fast asleep.
Lives at Stake: This isn't just about convenience; it’s about survival. Elderly citizens, students, and daily laborers are risking their lives just to get to the market.
​Where is the Accountability?
​It seems everyone is "taking note," but nobody is taking action. Why is the safety of Kralpora’s citizens being treated as a footnote? How many more years—or worse, how many lives—will it take for the authorities to wake up?

DISREGARD FOR PUBLIC CONVENIENCE BY MALIK HP GAS GRAMIN VITRAK KRALPORA. 📢
Despite being scheduled for delivery in Kralpora today, HP Gas management is failing to show up. Instead of the door-to-door delivery promised by the administration, people are being forced to travel all the way to the godown in this heavy rain.
This isn’t about logistics, it’s about deliberate mismanagement. Why should the public suffer in this weather because the agency refuses to follow the schedule?
This isn't just an inconvenience—it's a breakdown of basic service.

Civil Society Kralpora vehemently condemns the heinous terrorist attack that occurred today, 22 April 2025 at Pahalgam, resulting in the tragic loss of atleast 24 innocent lives and injuring several others.
This cowardly act of violence against unarmed tourists is an affront to the centuries old Kashmiri tradition of hospitality and peace.
We extend out heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims and pray for the swift recovery of those injured. Civil Society Kralpora stands in solidarity with all affected and reaffirmis its commitment to ensuring the safety and bolster security protocols to prevent such tragedies in future.

Kralpora's inner link roads are still blocked, and to make matters worse, there's been no electricity since yesterday. This situation is not only inconvenient but also poses safety risks.
I hope authorities address this situation promptly to restore normalcy and ensure resident safety.
