♟️ **Financial Support to Young Chess Player** ♟️

A financial assistance of ₹10,000/- was donated today to young chess player **Harish** from **Dr. Y.C. James Polytechnic College, Kuppam**, who is going to participate in the **International Level Chess Competition** organized by the Andhra Chess Association at Amaravati from **1st to 8th June**.

The support was jointly extended by
**Dr. N. Sunil Raj Garu**, Vice-Chairman, Kuppam Engineering College
and
**Lions Club of Kuppam Warriors**.

Participants in the program included Principal Ramakrishna, Lions Club Advisor Mahesh, members Selvam, Shiva, Dr. Ramesh, Jayaram Naidu, Physical Director Praveen, and lecturers.

Lions Club of Kuppam Warriors proudly conducted a Free Eye Camp & Diabetic Screening Camp successfully with the support of PES Medical College & Hospital, Kuppam.

👁️‍🗨️ More than 100+ people were screened during the camp.
🏥 12 patients were recommended for FREE eye surgeries for better vision and healthcare support.
🍛 Food was also distributed to the people who attended the camp.

Heartfelt thanks to the doctors, medical staff, volunteers, and everyone who supported this noble service activity. Together, we continue to serve the community with care and compassion.

Proud moment for Kuppam! ♟️

Lions Club of Kuppam Warriors has extended financial support of ₹10,000/- to Harish, a talented chess player from Dr. Y.C. James Government Polytechnic College, Kuppam, who is set to participate in the International Open Rapid FIDE Rating Chess Tournament to be held in Vijayawada on the 26th of this month.

Harish has previously brought laurels by winning the All India South Zone Polytechnic Sports & Games Meet, showcasing his exceptional skills and dedication.

On this occasion, Principal Ramakrishna Rao, Lions Club Advisor A. Mahesh, Secretary Shiva Thevar, Directors Selvam and Jayaram Naidu, HOD Syed Hussain, Physical Director Praveen Kumar, along with lecturers and staff, were present and extended their best wishes.

Mega Eye Camp Successfully Conducted in Kuppam 👁️

Kuppam, April 11: A Mega Eye Screening Camp was successfully organized under the leadership of Lions Club of Kuppam Warriors, with the medical team from PES Hospital supervising the event.

The camp received an overwhelming response from the local community, with a large number of people participating and undergoing eye examinations.

Doctors conducted primary eye screenings and identified patients with vision issues. Those in need were referred for free cataract surgeries, while others with minor vision problems were advised to use corrective glasses.

On this occasion, District Chairperson & Advisor A. Mahesh Amba, Pro. Seetharam, and Vice President Selvam emphasized the importance of regular eye check-ups, especially for the elderly. They highlighted that vision care is essential as age advances and reaffirmed that service to society remains the core mission of the Lions Club.

A total of 120 people were screened, out of which 15 patients were selected for free surgeries.

Additionally, the Lions Club arranged food for all patients and their attendants, conducting a meaningful Annadanam as part of the service initiative.

The event was attended by Administrator Charan, members Senthil Kumar, Jayaram Naidu, Ekambaram, Pro. Seetharam, doctors from PES Hospital, NSS students from the Government Degree College, and several volunteers.
