Kullu Town About Our Home .... Kullu !!! Kullu is the capital town of the Kullu District, in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh.

It is located on the banks of the Beas River in the Kullu Valley about ten kilometres north of the airport at Bhuntar. Kullu is a broad open valley formed by the Beas river between Manali and Largi. This valley is famous for its beauty and its majestic hills covered with Pine and Deodar Forest and sprawling Apple Orchards.The course of the Beas river presents a succession of magnificent, clad with

forests of Deodar, towering above trees of Pine on the lower rocky ridges. Kullu valley is sandwiched between the Pir Panjal, Lower Himalayan and Great Himalayan range.

कुल्लू: खराब मौसम के चलते कुल्लू में एक बार फिर जिला प्रशासन ने अलर्ट जारी कर दिया है. डीसी यूनुस ने जानकारी देते हुए कहा कि मौसम विभाग ने कुल्लू में बारिश और ऊंची चोटियों पर बर्फबारी की चेतावनी दी है.
डीसी ने स्थानीय लोगों से अपील की है कि लोग एहतियात बरते और नदियों के किनारे न जाएं. डीसी ने कहा कि कोई भी शख्स लकड़ियां पकड़ने के लिए नदी किनारे न जाए क्योंकि कभी बाढ़ के पानी में आ रहे मलबे में फंसने का डर है. उन्होंने चेतावनी देते हुए कहा कि अगर कोई इस तरह का काम करते हुए पकड़ा गया तो उसके खिलाफ सख्त कार्रवाई की जाएगी. इसके अलावा डीसी ने खराब मौसम में ट्रैकर्स से भी ऊंचे पहाड़ों की ओर न जाने की अपील की है.

10 women and 3 children airlifted by Indian Air Force helicopter from a remote shelter near Chhota Dara and brought to Kullu. Few men are still stranded at the spot & were provided food packets, relief materials & medicines.
