Venad Poultry Farmers Producer Company Ltd is an initiative under NABARD and KVK Kottarakkara established as per the central government scheme to organize farmers throughout the length and breadth of India. Venad PFPC has spirits of cooperative principles and has the potential to act independently like any other private limited company without government's interference. Venad PFPC is constituted b

y farmers and service providers. The core focuses of the company are;
- supply of live broiler chicken which is fed on pure vegetarian feed and free from added steroids, hormones, antibiotics and growth promoters
- encouraging backyard poultry farming in Kerala
- abattoir waste management with the help of government agencies
Venad PFPC, the first of its kind in Kerala, strives to accomplish self- sufficiency in egg production, to ensure the availability of safe and pure broiler chicken and also proposes effective solution to the environmental hazards caused by indiscriminate disposal of abattoir waste. Venad PFPC assures healthy future for the society as well as the poultry farming sector.
