പെരുംകുളം റേഷൻകട ജംഗ്ഷൻ മൂഴിക്കോട് റോഡിൽ വിജനമായ നടുവത്ര ഏലാഭാഗത്ത് മാലിന്യം തള്ളുന്നത് കർശനമായി നിരീക്ഷിക്കുവാൻ പഞ്ചായത്തിന്റെ നിരീക്ഷണ ക്യാമറകൾ ഉടൻ പ്രവർത്തനക്ഷമമാകും. അത്യാധുനിക ക്യാമറകൾ സ്ഥാപിക്കുന്ന നടപടികൾ അന്തിമഘട്ടത്തിലാണ്. ഇനിമുതൽ മാലിന്യം തള്ളുന്നവർ 10000 രൂപ പിഴ പഞ്ചായത്തിലേക്ക് അടയ്ക്കേണ്ടി വരും. കൂടാതെ നിയമനടപടികളും നേരിടേണ്ടി വരും.

മൈലം പഞ്ചായത്ത് വാർഡ് നമ്പർ 16 ലെ ജനപ്രതിനിധി കൂടിയായ ശ്രീ.ജി. സുരേഷ് കുമാറിന്റെ നിരന്തര ഇടപെടലിന്റെ ഭാഗമായാണ് ഇത്തരത്തിൽ ഒരു ക്യാമറ സ്ഥാപിക്കപ്പെടുന്നത്.
