CIPET:CSTS, Korba successfully conducted a 3-month residential Skill Development Training Programme on Assistant Machine Operator – Injection Moulding (AMO-IM) sponsored by NTPC Ltd., Lara, Raigarh under its CSR initiative from 06.02.2026 to 06.05.2026. A total of 20 trainees successfully completed the programme, and all trainees achieved 100% placement in reputed plastics industries at Pune.
The valedictory function was organized on 07.05.2026 at CIPET, Korba. Shri Zakir Khan, Additional General Manager (HR), NTPC Ltd., Lara, Raigarh attended the programme as the Chief Guest, while Ms. Qazi Khadeeja Arif, Executive (CSR) graced the occasion as the Special Guest. Senior officials of CIPET were also present during the function.Addressing the trainees, Shri Zakir Khan conveyed his best wishes and motivated them to build a successful career and become self-reliant professionals in the plastics industry. During the programme, Course Completion Certificates and Job Offer Letters were distributed to all successful trainees by the Chief Guest.
The programme reflects the joint commitment of CIPET and NTPC towards skill development, employment generation, and empowering youth through industry-oriented training initiatives.Shri Zakir Khan, Additional General Manager (HR), NTPC Ltd., Lara also visited various laboratories and workshops at CIPET Korba and observed the technical infrastructure and training facilities available at the institute. After witnessing the state-of-the-art infrastructure and the activities being carried out at CIPET Korba, especially in the areas of plastics processing and tool room facilities, he highly appreciated the institute’s efforts towards skill development and strengthening technical infrastructure in the plastics and allied sector.

सिपेट, कोरबा में वार्षिक उत्सव का भव्य आयोजन 🎉📚✨

सिपेट (CIPET), कोरबा में दिनांक 24.04.2026 को वार्षिक उत्सव का भव्य आयोजन किया गया। इस अवसर पर मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में माननीय मंत्री श्री लखन लाल देवांगन जी एवं विशिष्ट अतिथि माननीया महापौर श्रीमती संजू देवी राजपूत जी की गरिमामयी उपस्थिति रही।

कार्यक्रम का शुभारंभ दीप प्रज्वलन एवं सरस्वती वंदना के साथ किया गया। इस अवसर पर माननीय मंत्री श्री लखन लाल देवांगन जी ने विद्यार्थियों को संबोधित करते हुए उनके उज्ज्वल भविष्य की कामना की तथा उन्हें तकनीकी शिक्षा के माध्यम से आत्मनिर्भर बनने के लिए प्रेरित किया।

कार्यक्रम के दौरान माननीय मंत्री श्री लखन लाल देवांगन जी द्वारा संस्थान के प्रोसेसिंग एवं टूल रूम विभाग का अवलोकन किया गया, जहाँ उन्होंने आधुनिक मशीनों को देखा तथा इन्हें युवाओं के लिए अत्यंत उपयोगी बताते हुए तकनीकी प्रशिक्षण के महत्व पर बल दिया।

कार्यक्रम के दौरान विद्यार्थियों द्वारा विभिन्न सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रमों की शानदार प्रस्तुतियां दी गईं, जिनमें नृत्य, गीत एवं नाटक शामिल रहे। इन प्रस्तुतियों ने उपस्थित अतिथियों एवं दर्शकों का मन मोह लिया।

माननीय मंत्री जी द्वारा संस्थान के प्रतिभाशाली विद्यार्थियों को सम्मानित भी किया गया तथा सिपेट संस्थान द्वारा संचालित तकनीकी शिक्षा एवं कौशल विकास कार्यक्रमों की सराहना की गई।

कार्यक्रम में संस्थान के प्रधान निदेशक एवं प्रमुख डॉ. आलोक साहू जी, सिपेट के अधिकारीगण एवं कर्मचारीगण, विद्यार्थी तथा अन्य गणमान्य नागरिक बड़ी संख्या में उपस्थित रहे। यह वार्षिक उत्सव उत्साह, उमंग एवं प्रतिभा का उत्कृष्ट उदाहरण रहा। 🎉📚✨

The Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) of CIPET Korba successfully organized a virtual expert session on “World Creativity and Innovation Day” on April 21, 2026.
The session was delivered by Dakesh Patel, Software Development Engineer, Mumbai, Maharashtra, who provided valuable insights on the ethical and responsible use of generative AI, prompt engineering, and productive use cases of AI in students’ day-to-day activities.

NTPC Sipat continues to drive socio-economic growth through its latest CSR initiative—a fully residential Skill Development Training Programme. The ceremony officially marked the beginning of a transformative journey for 40 selected trainees from the local community belongs to Project affected villages.

An Intra-Institutional Start-up Competition was organized under the Institution Innovation Council (IIC) at CIPET Korba on 15/04/2026.
Students from all classes actively participated and presented their innovative start-up ideas. The objective of the program was to promote entrepreneurship, creativity, and innovation among students. Participants explained their business ideas, models, and future potential in front of the panel.
The event provided a valuable platform for students to showcase their talent and gain motivation towards start-up development.
