CIPET:CSTS, Korba successfully conducted a 3-month residential Skill Development Training Programme on Assistant Machine Operator – Injection Moulding (AMO-IM) sponsored by NTPC Ltd., Lara, Raigarh under its CSR initiative from 06.02.2026 to 06.05.2026. A total of 20 trainees successfully completed the programme, and all trainees achieved 100% placement in reputed plastics industries at Pune.
The valedictory function was organized on 07.05.2026 at CIPET, Korba. Shri Zakir Khan, Additional General Manager (HR), NTPC Ltd., Lara, Raigarh attended the programme as the Chief Guest, while Ms. Qazi Khadeeja Arif, Executive (CSR) graced the occasion as the Special Guest. Senior officials of CIPET were also present during the function.Addressing the trainees, Shri Zakir Khan conveyed his best wishes and motivated them to build a successful career and become self-reliant professionals in the plastics industry. During the programme, Course Completion Certificates and Job Offer Letters were distributed to all successful trainees by the Chief Guest.
The programme reflects the joint commitment of CIPET and NTPC towards skill development, employment generation, and empowering youth through industry-oriented training initiatives.Shri Zakir Khan, Additional General Manager (HR), NTPC Ltd., Lara also visited various laboratories and workshops at CIPET Korba and observed the technical infrastructure and training facilities available at the institute. After witnessing the state-of-the-art infrastructure and the activities being carried out at CIPET Korba, especially in the areas of plastics processing and tool room facilities, he highly appreciated the institute’s efforts towards skill development and strengthening technical infrastructure in the plastics and allied sector.
