Jatayu Earth's Center’ unveils the advent of new milestone in the history of Kerala tourism, the ‘flag off’ to an experience, which challenges and supersedes the existing! The curtain to the much awaited tourism destination is all set to rise. Finally, Kerala tourism has a brand new destination ‘Jatayu Earth's Center' which marks the beginning of a much awaited innovative stride in Tourism sector

‘Jatayu Earth's Center’ unravels a journey that reveals to you the beautifully interweaved set of compositions by Shri Rajiv Anchal, which brings together an experience that touches the varied dimensions of art, epics, history, technology, siddha and adventure. Set in the picturesque backdrop, the Jatayu sculpture stands as the symbol of gratitude towards the heroic deed of Jatayu in protecting Sita in the epic Ramayana and has its greater relevance in the modern context as it is one of the earliest attributes in regard to women safety and honour. ‘Jatayu Earth's Center’ is unique and special in many ways. It stands as the creative testament between Kerala tourism and Guruchandrika Builders and Property Private Limited. The 65 acres of land on the terms of BOT, underwent the process of transforming into the new face of Kerala tourism under the creative vision ofof Shri. Rajiv Anchal, the famous sculptor and renowned film maker of international repute and the Chairman and Managing Director, M/s Guruchandrika Builders and Property Private Limited.

About Jatayu Earth’s Center

Jatayu Earth’s Center tourism project is spread over 65 acres of multi terrain landscape at Jatayupara near Chadayamangalam town in Kollam district of Kerala. The terrain is 1000 feet above sea level and has diverse geographic features ranging from hills, valleys, rugged rocks, caves to cultivable lands. The destination is right at the epic center of the south Kerala tourist spots and is easily accessible, since it is only 500 meters away from the Main Central (MC) road.

The giant concrete statue of Jatayu is built on a mighty rock named Jatayupara (para means rock in Malayalam). The colossal statue is 200 feet long, 150 feet wide and 70 feet making it the largest functional bird sculpture in the world with an entry into the Guinness Book of World Records.
