The National Service Scheme Units 174 & 262 of TKM College of Engineering is one of the most prominent and active units currently working under the APJAKTU NSS Cell. NSS TKMCE has always been an organisation that emphasizes in helping the community and build up a better society. They have conducted various programmes like Jeevarekha, which was a voluntary blood donation campaign and the event aimed to invoke awareness among people about the shortage of blood and how it can help millions of people. Another notable event is Varamozhi, which is an audio library platform created to help people who can't read. Even in the pandemic, they have been continuously arranging so many events for helping people and making them aware of several important topics. Every volunteer of their units is highly motivated to contribute to the cause because of their charismatic and ambitious Volunteer Secretaries and Programme Officers.

CAPTAINS Social Solutions is a youth-led Social Enterprise, working with an objective of creating an inclusive & sustainable ecosystem for social volunteers and organizations, through practising and promoting initiatives addressing United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
We are a one-stop destination for volunteers and social organizations to ideate, design, executive & outreach social projects. We incubate ideas, evaluate solutions & act as a support system to enhance the growth and impact of social initiatives which addresses social issues.We are enhancing the capacity, potential and creativity of youth to create sustainable impact in the society. We believe in youth and invest in them by providing tools and skills, connecting them with like-minded volunteers & organisations and sharing their stories and impact to the world. _ISV Awards is an initiative of Institute of Social Volunteering and The Gulmohar Foundation with the support of CAPTAINS Social Solutions. The Gulmohar Foundation and Institute of Social Volunteering aim to build future leaders and social entrepreneurs by empowering volunteers and will connect the awardees with communities and help them to create network of volunteers. The awardees will receive capacity development training, mentorship and access to $250 funding opportunity with the support of CAPTAINS Social Solutions besides the memento and certificates._

In our quest of redefining volunteerism, we are looking for three storytellers who can pen down the stories of volunteers who took the courage to challenge the issues of the society and change the world.

Selected intern's responsibilities include:
1) Conceptualizing and creating stories of inspiring volunteers worked with Institute of Social Volunteering
2) Conversing with change makers and document it to inspire more people

Who can Apply:
1- People who are comfortable in Malayalam and English
2- Are available for a duration of minimum 3 months
3- Can commit 8 hours a week
4- have relevant skills and interest
