‎🚦 ONLINE ROAD SAFETY AWARENESS SESSION 🚗

‎Dear Driving Learners & Beginner Drivers,

1. Red Light: STOP
‎Come to a complete stop at the stop line.
‎Do not cross the intersection while the signal is red.
‎Wait patiently for the green signal.
‎Never assume the road is clear just because other vehicles are moving.

‎2. Yellow Light: CAUTION
‎Slow down and prepare to stop.
‎Do not accelerate just to “beat” the signal.
‎If you have already crossed the stop line, continue safely when appropriate.
‎Stay alert for pedestrians and vehicles.

‎3. Green Light: GO SAFELY
‎Green means you may proceed, not that you can go without checking.
‎Look for pedestrians, cyclists, motorcycles and vehicles.
‎Give way where required.
‎Proceed only when the path ahead is clear.

‎4. Flashing Red
‎Treat it as a STOP signal:
‎Stop completely.
‎Check all directions.
‎Proceed only when it is safe and permitted.

‎5. Flashing Yellow
‎Slow down.
‎Be extra alert at the intersection.
‎Look for cross traffic and pedestrians.
‎Proceed with caution.

‎6. Traffic Signal Failure
‎If the signal is not functioning:
‎Slow down and approach carefully.
‎Treat the intersection as an uncontrolled junction.
‎Give priority according to applicable traffic rules.
‎Never rush through a signal that is out of order.

‎7. Remember These Three Rules
‎Buckle Up Every Time
‎Seat belts reduce the risk of serious injury.
‎Do Not Speed

#‎ Speed gives you less time to react and increases crash severity.
‎No Mobile While Driving, ‎A call, message or video can take your attention away from the road for just a few seconds, but the consequences can last a lifetime.

#‎ Final Awareness Message
‎Traffic signals are not just lights. They are a communication system that helps everyone share the road safely.

‎🚦 Respect the Signal.
‎🛑 Stop When Required.
‎⚠️ Slow Down When Necessary.
‎🟢 Proceed Only When Safe.

#‎Safe Drive Today, Safe Life Tomorrow.

Did You Know? Your Car Remote Key Has a Hidden Manual Key! 🗝️

Most modern car remote keys contain a hidden mechanical key inside. It's there for emergencies when:

🔋 Your key fob battery is dead.

🚗 Your car battery is completely discharged.

📡 The remote isn't working due to signal issues or remote battery 🪫 low.
Simply slide the release button on your key fob to remove the hidden key and use it to unlock the driver's door manually.

Somewhere... a mother is praying for her son.
Somewhere... a child is waiting for their father.
Somewhere... someone is counting the minutes until you come home.

When you hold the steering wheel, you don't just control a vehicle...

You carry dreams.
You carry families.
You carry lives.

A few seconds of speeding can steal a lifetime of happiness.

Drive slowly.
Drive responsibly.
Because every person on the road is someone's whole world.

Reach home safely. Let others reach home too. ❤️🚗

"Your speed is your choice. Someone's life is not."

🚨 Road Safety Awareness

📱 Driving and watching Mobile 📲 Phone can wait. Your life cannot.

When driving, even a few seconds of looking at your mobile can take your eyes off the road and your mind away from traffic.

❌ Don't watch videos while driving.
❌ Don't use your phone in your hand.
✅ Keep your eyes on the road.
✅ If you need to use your phone, stop safely first.

Remember: One notification is not more important than one life.

🛣️ Drive Safe. Stay Alert. Reach Safe.

Monthly Car Care Checklist (Once Every Month)🚘

Spending 20 to 30 minutes each month on these checks can prevent expensive repairs and keep your car safe and reliable.

🚗 1. Tyres
Check tyre pressure (including the spare tyre).
Inspect tread depth and look for uneven wear.
Remove stones or nails stuck in the tread.
Check for cuts, cracks, or bulges.

🛢️ 2. Engine Oil
Check the oil level with the dipstick when the engine is cool.
If the level is low, top up with the recommended engine oil.
Look for any oil leaks under the car.

🌡️ 3. Coolant
Check the coolant level in the reservoir.
Never open the radiator cap when the engine is hot.
Top up only with the recommended coolant if needed.

💧 4. Brake Fluid
Ensure the brake fluid is between the MIN and MAX marks.
If it drops frequently, have the braking system inspected.

🔋 5. Battery
Check battery terminals for corrosion or loose connections.
Clean terminals if needed.
Ensure the battery is firmly secured.
👀 6. Lights
Test headlights (high and low beam).
Check brake lights, indicators, reverse lights, and hazard lights.
Replace any faulty bulbs promptly.

🌧️ 7. Wipers & Washer
Check wiper blades for cracks or streaking.
Refill windshield washer fluid.
Clean the windshield thoroughly.

🛑 8. Brakes
Listen for squealing or grinding noises.
Notice if the brake pedal feels soft or the car pulls to one side.
Get the brakes checked if you notice any issues.

🧹 9. Interior & Exterior
Wash the car to remove dirt and road grime.
Clean the interior and floor mats.
Apply wax every 3 to 6 months for paint protection.

🧰 10. Emergency Equipment
Make sure these are present and in good condition:
Reflective warning triangle
First aid kit
Torch
Tyre inflator
Tow rope
Jumper cables

📋 11. Service Record
Record the current odometer reading.
Note any unusual sounds, warning lights, or problems.
Schedule service if it's due.

🧑‍🔧Pro Tip: Even if your car is driven very little, perform this monthly inspection. Time, heat, and moisture can affect tyres, the battery, and fluids even when the car is parked.

‎🚨 How to Use a Warning Triangle Correctly 🚨

‎A warning triangle is an essential road safety device that helps alert approaching drivers when your vehicle is stopped due to a breakdown, flat tyre, or emergency.

‎Follow these 5 simple steps:

‎1️⃣ Park Safely
‎Move your vehicle to the side of the road or a safe location.

‎2️⃣ Turn On Hazard Lights
‎Switch on your hazard warning lights to alert other road users.

‎3️⃣ Set Up the Warning Triangle
‎Open the triangle fully and place it upright on a stable surface.

‎4️⃣ Place It Behind Your Vehicle
‎Position the warning triangle behind your vehicle so that approaching drivers can see it clearly.

‎5️⃣ Keep the Correct Distance
‎🏙️ City Roads: 30-50 metres behind your vehicle.
‎🛣️ Highways/Expressways: About 100 metres behind, or even farther if visibility is poor.

‎⚠️ Safety Tip: Wear a reflective jacket if available, stay away from moving traffic, and never stand directly behind your vehicle while placing the warning triangle.

‎A small triangle can make a big difference. Stay visible. Stay safe.
