From April 1, toll payments on National Highways are now digital - via FASTag or UPI.

NHAI has revised the FASTag Annual Pass fee from ₹3,000 to ₹3,075 for the Financial Year 2026–27, effective 1st April 2026.

The Annual Pass for non-commercial vehicles enables seamless travel at around 1,150 fee plazas on National Highways and National Expressways with a one-time payment valid for 1 year or 200 toll crossings.

Activate easily through the Rajmargyatra App or NHAI website.

The Six-Laning of National Highway-19 section from Palsit to Dankuni is a major infrastructure initiative aimed at strengthening connectivity in West Bengal.

Spanning 63.83 km across the districts of Purba Bardhaman, Hooghly and Howrah, the project has been developed as a modern 6-lane divided carriageway to improve travel efficiency and accommodate growing traffic demand. With key infrastructure elements including major bridges, flyovers, railway overbridges, vehicular underpasses, pedestrian facilities and truck lay-bys, the corridor enhances safety, traffic flow and operational efficiency.

The project strengthens connectivity to NH-16 and NH-12, improving access to Kolkata and Haldia Ports, while supporting industrial clusters in Dankuni, Singur, Hooghly and Durgapur. It also improves connectivity to important destinations such as Tarkeshwar, benefiting commuters, freight operators and tourists.

মাননীয় প্রধানমন্ত্রী শ্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদির নেতৃত্বে পশ্চিমবঙ্গে জাতীয় সড়ক অবকাঠামোতে এক বৃহৎ রূপান্তর ঘটছে।

প্রায় ৮৫৫ কিমি জুড়ে ₹৭১,০০০ কোটিরও বেশি মূল্যের প্রকল্প পরিকল্পনাধীন রয়েছে, পাশাপাশি ₹১২,০০০ কোটিরও বেশি মূল্যের ২৬১ কিমি প্রকল্প ইতিমধ্যেই বরাদ্দ করা হয়েছে। গত এক দশকে ₹৩৫,০০০ কোটি বিনিয়োগের ফলে জাতীয় সড়ক নেটওয়ার্ক ২০১৪ সালের ২,৯০৮ কিমি থেকে ২০২৬ সালে ৩,৯১০ কিমিতে সম্প্রসারিত হয়েছে এবং রাজ্যের সব ২৩টি জেলা সদরকে সংযুক্ত করেছে। NH-10 উন্নয়ন, NH-14-এ রেলওয়ে ওভারব্রিজ, রানিগঞ্জ ও দুবরাজপুর বাইপাস, পুরুলিয়া বাইপাস এবং কোনা এক্সপ্রেসওয়ের এলিভেটেড করিডরসহ একাধিক গুরুত্বপূর্ণ প্রকল্প সংযোগব্যবস্থা শক্তিশালী করছে, লজিস্টিকস উন্নত করছে এবং রাজ্যজুড়ে অর্থনৈতিক প্রবৃদ্ধিকে ত্বরান্বিত করছে।

Annual Pass fee for private vehicles revised for FY 2026–27.

As per the latest notification, the Annual Pass for non-commercial vehicles with valid FASTag has been revised to ₹3,075, effective 1 April 2026, applicable across all toll plazas under NHAI RO Kolkata.

Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone for the construction of two additional 4-lane major bridges on NH-14 in Paschim Medinipur, West Bengal — a 1.48 km long bridge over the River Kangsabati and a 0.9 km long bridge over the River Shilabati.
These will strengthen connectivity between Paschim Medinipur and Bankura, linking key towns such as Salboni, Garhbeta and Chandrakona, while reducing travel time by around 30 minutes. The improved corridor will also facilitate smoother movement of commuters and goods, while boosting regional trade, agriculture and economic growth.

Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone for the 4-lane 5.67 km Dubrajpur Bypass on NH-14 in Birbhum, West Bengal. The project will ease congestion in Dubrajpur town, divert traffic from sharp curves and busy junctions, and significantly improve travel efficiency.
Equipped with vehicular underpasses, the bypass will enhance road safety and ensure better local connectivity, while improving access to stone quarries and coal blocks in Birbhum district.
