This is an important message to all my friends and well-wishers. As you all might know that I had been actively trying to build the Shib Chandra Siksha Bhaban,a school of 42 years standing and reputation as a modern educational hub of Konnagar. I joined the school after retirement from LIC as a volunteer with an assignment as Head Master. Today I have been physically assaulted by a group of local political hooligans led by Asit Chakravoty(Bebo) TMC town President at the school while holding a meeting with guardians in an information sharing programme. The development scheme of the school was being shared with them in the meeting. Suddenly they got into the meeting and hurled abuses by snatching the microphone and started provoking the guardians with all concocted bu*****ts. As you all know that I have been a passionate lover of education who was sincerely trying to work for the cause of education through Vivekananda Yuva Mahamandal(since 1975), Alumni Associations of different local Secondary and Higher Secondary Schools of Konnagar and Nabagram. My contribution was being acknowledged by the common beneficiaries across the people of locality. This appeared to be a threat to the vested interests who had been looking for monetary gains out of the development projects relating to the school. They have today forcefully compelled me to sign upon an already drafted resignation letter in my name. This unlawful elements had been trying to interfere into the development projects for quite sometime with the object of grabbing the school properties and management of the school. I think this should be shared by all good people who support the cause of education and building up an educated generation in the locality and thereby build a good society in the long run. This should go viral across the spectrum and needs to be known by the people around the world.

We organized a BENGALI, ENGLISH SPELLING, ENGLISH READING, STORY TELLING competition at Konnagar High School.
