Nine people died till now and around 50 passengers were injured after a good train collided with the Kanchanjunga Express travelling to Kolkata from Assam's Silchar in Darjeeling district of West Bengal. The goods train rammed the passenger express from behind near Rangapani station, close to New Jalpaiguri.

*Team NMO West Bengal (Dr Koushik Roy, Dr Angshuman Mahato, Dr Arindam Dey, Dr Sajal Roy, Dr. Aditya Sapui and many students from North Bengal Medical College)* along with karyakartas of Seva Bharti rushed into action and served whol heartedly, some of them donated blood also.

Many are critically injured. Rescue work is going on.

NMO Bengal's participation in organizing medical camps during the Geeta Path by 50K devotee in Murshidabad was instrumental in delivering essential healthcare services to the community. With a team comprising 12 medical students and doctors, we meticulously coordinated every aspect, from setting up the camps to ensuring the availability of necessary medicines and equipment.

Our efforts were not only focused on providing medical aid but also on fostering a sense of holistic well-being among the attendees. The praise we received from sadhu Sanyasins representing various religious bodies is a testament to the impact our initiative had on the community.

By integrating healthcare services with spiritual endeavors, we demonstrated our unwavering commitment to uplifting the community in all aspects of life. This collaborative approach highlights NMO Bengal's dedication to serving society and making a meaningful difference in people's lives.
